System Administration for Small Businesses

What do you like best? We're able to remotely control user accounts and other system services across our fleet of Macbook laptops. What do you dislike? No large downside to JumpCloud other than the initial manual installation of the tool on each machine. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We're remotely syncing user accounts, enforcing some system policies (like full disk encryption), and syncing passwords/logins with G Suite.

Great Solution when Active Directory is just overkill.

What do you like best? Quick, easy central control of credentials for multiple systems. What do you dislike? We love single sign on, but too many web services consider it an "enterprise" feature, so it is not as widely available as it should be. Recommendations to others considering the product: Just try it, you'll love it. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Keeping passwords synced on systems that may only get used ...

Solves the last step in "moving to the cloud.

What do you like best? Users have trouble safely keeping track of all the passwords they need regularly, having the ability to synchronize the most important ones under one authority is phenomenal. What do you dislike? It wish we had the ability to control local machine user groups using JumpCloud and the ability to grant permissions to a file-share but disallow direct login to the machine. This would greatly improve workflow for file sharing in SMBs. Recommendations to others ...

Jumpcloud is a simple way to improve security

What do you like best? When I move a client to Jumpcloud, the management of computers with cloud infrastructure gets simpler. Because of their cloud radius, I often can improve security more by locking down their WiFi. In the end, there is less passwords for end users to remember and everyone is more secure. Users get excited when I tell them they will have to remember less passwords. What do you dislike? Minor issue, to get Cloud LDAP working, you have to create a user just ...

The Active Directory Replacement that just works

What do you like best? My favorite part about JumpCloud is how it just works! We have connected different apps, users, integrations, and love how when the change is made, not only is it quick, but works and reliably. They also encourage their 10 users forever which is a huge deal in testing for bigger environments before roll-out. What do you dislike? My main point right now is the fact that the JumpCloud agent cannot be used with domain-joined computers; however, I agree with ...

Great workgroup managability

What do you like best? I like how easy it is to manage a small workgroup and how it syncs with gsuite and O365 for a seamless point of management What do you dislike? After initial setup getting the end user to read the email and finish the activation. Recommendations to others considering the product: Jumpcloud is a great service when syncing and integrating within a workgroup. Single point of management makes it easier as an IT professional. What problems are you ...

Once you have received the hang of SSO applications, it is simple.

What do you like best? We wanted JumpCloud to control access to properties and infrastructure, to implement simple computer policies and to enhance the complexity of the password and 2FA and to provide our most-used applications with a single connection. What do you dislike? A lot of data are accessable only via the API, meaning that they are not open to calls made by APIs. Recommendations to others considering the product: TEST. Every user should strongly recommend ...

Jump On It

What do you like best? I like the dashboard ease of use and the ability to push different policies to both PCs and Macs. What do you dislike? The main downside is, the fact the user accounts are still technically local. Recommendations to others considering the product: Try it free first. You get up to I believe 10 accounts for free that you can play around with. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Centralized user ...
