Strong Product, Excited for Future Developments

What do you like best? I like that it seems JumpCloud is trying to develop an all inclusive solution for management both access, but devices through the introduction of the MDM platform. What do you dislike? Some of the features are still in their infancy, which is a dislike, but, I would say if they are delivered well that will be a plus for JumpCloud. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Password management and increased ...

FinTech Solutions

What do you like best? I am a big fan of the Systems overview and User overview pages. It gives me a clear oversight of all assets within our business. What do you dislike? Poor remote command execution process. Feedback can be unclear and would be good if there was some stock commands. If there was some commands available for common tasks such as enforcement of updates and reboot that would be useful. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you ...

Jumpcloud allow us to manage remote users

What do you like best? Gives us the ability to manage user credentials and systems without on premise hardware. It allows for us to run remote commands on our laptops while our users work from home so we don't have to remote into their laptops using teamviewer or splashtop to gather information. What do you dislike? User creation is difficult and sometimes requires you to set information a couple of times. For creating G Suite accounts you have to first create the account and then ...

What do you like best? MdM features allowed us to manage endpoint security and users/device binding What do you dislike? JumpCloud user persistence after client installation Recommendations to others considering the product: JumpCloud provides excellent cloud directory service and MdM capabilities What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Laptops management and user device binding

Great alternative to on-prem LDAP

What do you like best? JumpCloud does a great job at being a central point of IAM for corporate resources. The zero-touch enrollment experience is very well documented, and we were able to easily set that up for new employees. We are now shipping laptops direct to employees thanks to JumpCloud. What do you dislike? JumpCloud could use much improvement in the SSO/SCIM area. A generic SCIM/JIT connector, the ability to custom brand the user portal, and the ability to hide SSO apps ...

Excellent SaaS authentication

What do you like best? Jumpcloud made desktop authentication easy. A small shim on the desktop and you're off to the races. The data collected by Jumpcloud is useful for troubleshooting and tracking. What do you dislike? While the desktop authentication piece is pretty straightforward and easy to set up, other features have a bit of a learning curve. If you want to do things like set up printers, install apps, etc. then you'll need to learn a little bit of scripting. What ...

Jumpcloud as MDM

What do you like best? Ease of use, rather clean UI, good onboarding, pre-configured policies. This makes MDM rather easy and all necessary info is gathered within 1 place (e.g. encryption status of the device, which was an absolute necessity). For WIndows users the change of passwords is really easy with the well known ctrl-alt-del command. What do you dislike? Not always great while installing the client or synchronization between Jumpcloud and IdP. Some policies are missing or ...

Systems Admin that is finally easy to use

What do you like best? Policies that can be applied to any OS remotely What do you dislike? Some browser glitches affect the usability sometimes Recommendations to others considering the product: Get a 10 user free trial, get a willing set of users to trial it out on and see how easy it is to setup policies and remotely deploy commands to target machines What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? ISO27001 certification, remotely ...

JumpCloud for Directory Management

What do you like best? The centralised control that it provides across all of our systems. We are able to add users, provision them on various directories, such as Google, and have used the SSO functionality extensively. What do you dislike? Password change on Mac has been problematic in the past. Apple were changing very quickly and JumpCloud didn't appear to be keeping up. That appears to be behind us now. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you ...

Jumpcloud is a very good product that helps us operate more efficiently and securely

What do you like best? Ability to control security features on computers and setup workstations remotely. What do you dislike? Having to update 150 user names to what we have on the local computer for them to capture the account What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Automation when creating accounts across the SaaS products we use, giving us a cloud directory and controlling computer security, and a SSO for users to access applications.
