You are wasting your time with Indeed! Worthless website!

Indeed is a pointless website. I had over 30 job applications and only had 3 or 4 actually reviews and only 1 interview. It showed that one of the applications was not chosen by employer and I actually got hired by that employer. So if my application was not chosen by employer how did the employer chose me to interview and chose me to come to work for them.Indeed is a horrible online employment website. prioritizing subscription fees over the protection of users

Some companies that have been struck off are still advertising on Indeed, requesting personal details such as proof of a driving license, passport, and bank account information from applicants. It appears that Indeed is not addressing this issue, prioritizing subscription fees over the protection of users' information.

Indeed is not bothered about the safety of its customer

I called Indeed India customer care about an employer who used sexually offensive language and I was asked for money. When asked why I was being asked for money, the customer service agent just hung up. Not only this, the agent didn't answer calls after this at all.

Recommendation

My experiences with Job hunting with Indeed have been great. Working alongside my recruiter Cory Heath who has supported me with dignity and respect throughout the process of helping me find my next nursing position. I believe Indeed and its 3rd party…

I believe Indeed and its 3rd party partners are writing fake reviews to increase their rating and star rating. Basically, the system, process, workflow and data share/storage and abuses are high. Consumers and job hunters beware.

Hard to Narrow Down Job Search

Indeed has absolutely no way to filter OUT remote jobs from appearing in your job searches - you're always going to see them. You can only filter to specifically see remote jobs. Likewise, the job searches actively ignore search radius and show you 'state-wide' job postings (ie. locations just being 'Texas' instead of the city you're looking in).

I have been searching for a job for 11 months

I have been searching for a job for quite some time now. Indeed continues to send me position notifications, but they have not been in my area of expertise, and the most recent, which is of great interest to me, is not actually being actively recruited by the company. It's disappointing, but I will continue to check the jobs they send, and hope for something appropriate and exciting.
