Indeed are an absolute scam

Indeed are an absolute scam. I am an employer who doesn't have Visa Sponsorship available for foreign workers. When I asked if there was an option to automatically remove applicants requiring this, I was told by Indeed that because they were a global company, they couldn't / wouldn't facilitate this. They said to mention the 'non sponsorship visa' in the title of my job advert. I subsequently received 80 applicants over a 3 week period, 74 of which all needed visa sponsorship. As I ...

I added myself to a free trial period…Unauthorized Charges and Lack of Customer Support: Beware of Indeed's Free Tria

I added myself to a free trial period for Indeed and canceled it afterwards. Over a month later, they have now deducted 166 euros from me without my permission for a service I NEVER use. Subsequently, it is impossible to contact them or delete my profile and bank details. Therefore, I am writing a 1-star review here because I simply do not know what to do to (maybe) get my money back and how to ensure that no more money is deducted from my account! If this message somehow reaches someone ...

No action taken against bad employers

Full of agencies advertising roles that simply don't exist just to get names on their books. Many employers don't bother replying to applications, yet the same job is readvertised a week later. Indeed cannot just say 'we're not an employer or employment agency it's not up to us.' These are adverts on their site and they need to take some responsibility. Maybe do some test applications to see what if any response they get and remove disingenuous adverts. Demonstrates a complete lack of ...

Indeed job site is a joke for employers…

Indeed job site is a joke for employers posting jobs. I advertised a job for phlebotomist/front office person. Over 95% responses were from fast food restaurant workers, cleaners, wear house workers, or something else. They were charging me $14/application. They give you time limit to reject applications. So if toilet cleaner applies for a job as a phlebotomist, and you don’t check and reject that application, you pay. Final bill was close to $1000. I got ripped off big time. Scammers are ...

Absolute scam!

Absolute scam!! Avoid at all costs or you will end up paying a lot of money....which you can't control by the way, they just take it as and when they like without warning! As an employer I set up an ad for a chef role. 95% of the applicants were from India and have no way or means of attending interviews or coming to work. The applicants are fake and as soon as they 'apply' for the job you are of course charged by indeed. The other 5% are just total time wasters and are probably fake ...

Frustration!

Merely this:a lot of time is spent in filling in applications. Perhaps if you spent less time advertising on TV saying how brilliant you think you are and spent more on those who really need you,you might get better reviews. Most of this time is wasted as it gets no response at all. Also Indeed leaves jobs on line far too long: who is going to be interested in a job posted 30+ days ago?

The business verification process is frustrating, customer service is vague and unhelpful.

The business verification process is extremely frustrating, terribly formatted, and disorganized. They suspended my account, after their system rejected 2 different documents I submitted without further explanation. After I phoned the second time I learned it was because they couldn't open a PDF file. I have now provided this website with a great deal of sensitive business information, and still can't post a part time job for my daycare program. Also the website tried to add in a bunch of ...
