So far I am in love with their service though would add some more functions. I have no other options to compare to yet and had no need either.

Great tool for product managers.

What do you like best? I really love how easy HotJar was to setup. It only took a few minutes, and now I'm automatically generating heatmaps and I'm gathering customer feedback on my webpages. It's been really valuable for me as a product manager. What do you dislike? I think that on one of the sites we implemented it on it slowed things down a little, but I'd actually have to get the dev team to verify that.. It may just have been me. What problems are you solving with the ...

Quick and easy way to understand your users behavior on your site for a better user experience.

What do you like best? The best thing I like about Hotjar is how easy it is to see the click, move, scroll heatmaps. Really like how I can quickly see what and how many times our users are clicking on certain elements. What do you dislike? The one thing I dislike about Hotjar is that their is no easy way to track dynamic content such as menu dropdowns or modals. Recommendations to others considering the product: Its a highly effective tool that is user friendly. Hotjar ...

Extremely easy to use and the data we get is very valuable for driving key decisions.

What do you like best? Setting up heat maps, surveys, and polls is so easy. I also like how easy it is to install Hotjar for your websites. What do you dislike? No easy way to save visual metrics other than taking screenshots. The export data feature for heatmaps provides data but hard to determine which is which. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Understanding how our traffic navigates our marketing site so we can provide a ...

Very useful tool to take product decision with more awareness of the user behaviour

What do you like best? I love the heatmaps and the fact that it tells you where the user clicked and how he moves his mouse around. Very useful also the possibility to create a funnel and to see the behavior of specific users that belong to a specific group in an A/B test I find it very useful also the fact that you can see platform-related behaviors (mobile, desktop, and iPad). What do you dislike? Unfortunately, it doesn't have an sdk so I cannot monitor the app ...

Great visual tool to understand user behavior on your website.

What do you like best? Very easy to set up and digest user behavior and glean actionable insights not available through pure numerical analytical web analytics tools. Heatmap is great in understanding interactions and mis-interactions with design elements. The click stream recordings that can be filtered by click paths makes it easier to hone into relevant data to review. What do you dislike? Not as robust in integration to website analytics for additional slicing of the data. ...

It turns out to be an excellent tool to measure user behavior with our website

What do you like best? It turns out to be an excellent tool to measure user behavior with our website, since it has functions that allow us to observe and analyze the sites visited by the user within our website, it also allows the recording of screens which is not quite useful to observe user behavior in real time and in very good quality, another very interesting point is that it issues automatic reports which is very practical when you want to analyze user interaction with our ...

Does not always work

Using this app to record the visitors at my website. Unfortunately, most of the sessions are not recorded, whatever the settings are saved.. Moved to another provider recently and will try HotJar again in the future if these issues will be fixed.

Fast, informative, intuitive.

What do you like best? Very easy to learn with the free version before deciding to upgrade. I was creating heatmaps and recordings in minutes. The heatmaps are easy to export for sharing. I also like the ability to tag recordings so I can go back and look at recurring issues that might be happening. The user interface is intuitive, and it's easy to set up accounts for other members of my organization. What do you dislike? Scheduling batches of recordings from a certain time instead ...
