"The analytics you always wanted (but Google never gave you)"

What do you like best about Hotjar? The interface is simple and intuitive - but the platform itself is the main event. The ability to understand in-page viewing, scrolling and clicking behavior and see it in real time is incredibly valuable. What do you dislike about Hotjar? I don't know if there's anything I dislike - I certainly do look forward to new features and analysis tools to be added to the ecosystem. Recommendations to others considering Hotjar: Be creative, these tools are ...

"Informative analytics to help drive decisions in web design"

What do you like best about Hotjar? Easy to use UI to get started; extensive documentation; allows non-developers to easily install the extension on any CMS. What do you dislike about Hotjar? Pricing can start to get costly as you scale up. What problems is Hotjar solving and how is that benefiting you? Improve user engagement and call to action placement.

"Intuitive, Makes User Tracking a No-Brainer"

What do you like best about Hotjar? Once installed, Hotjar automatically tracks everything with a very minimal code load, meaning that it won't slow down your site. It's easy to set up polling or user questions to optimize your site. Hotjar also makes exporting heat maps simple and easy. The code is simple to install in platforms like Wordpress, Wix, etc. What do you dislike about Hotjar? Sometimes exported heat maps can be clunky to view as they are image files that pull the entire length ...

"The best way to record user sessions to improve the usability of ones product"

What do you like best about Hotjar? The best part of hotjar is that it's the easiest thing to install. The verification process hardly takes a couple of minutes, even before we open up my laptop, the thing is already working and capturing the user sessions. I had been using Hotjar to record the user actions on my website to see which of the things on my website are working well, what are the things that the user is trying to interact with and where is the user getting struck. So the best ...

Hotjar does a tremendous job in looking into how users make use of our site.

PROS: Having the ability to extract data from user records is simply the best. We're able to see parts where users tend to get stuck with, when they head over to FAQs, and the info they're after. This is so valuable that it helped us give info to users in places they're looking into. CONS: If there's any tool present that aids in running pre-analysis on recordings to direct us to sticking points, then this tool would've functioned more efficiently.
