Easy to Use, Insightful Data

What do you like best? I love being able to set up multiple tests based on my testing objectives. Data from multiple tools works together to release comprehensive data points. What do you dislike? Some forms types aren't able to be analyzed by the tool. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We are using HotJar to improve customer experiences on our websites. It really helps us prove or disprove feelings about performance.

Super easy to use

What do you like best? I love how easy it is to slap on pages on our main site, as well as pages that live on our subdomains that we build in Unbounce. Viewing recordings is pretty easy, and the autoplay feature for the next recording in the queue is pretty nice. Heat maps are also useful. What do you dislike? Reliable tool for website analytics

What do you like best? Launching new recordings and heatmaps is super easy and results can be achieved in short time. It doesn't slow down the site. What do you dislike? Heatmaps funcionality is a little bit limited - it works only by showing results on static images, so you can't really see how users use different sliders, tabs, menus etc. What business problems are you solving with the product? Hassle free tool for startups and SME

What do you like best? Best options as an addition to Google Analytics. GA is good for numbers and Hotjar is nice for softer things like users journey and specyfic behaviours. What do you dislike? Sampling is problematic sometimes. On small site with small subscription plan less popular sections of pages may be rare in reports. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Coomplements GA data.

hotjar is more than just heatmaps

What do you like best? Hotjar is very easy to setup and work out of the box for the most part. Having heatmaps is critical to understand users behavior. Hotjar does heatmaps plus many other features to better understand your website audience. What do you dislike? Hotjar has some hurdles to overcome when it comes to SPA pages. Hotjar will only take a screenshot of the first page that the user lands on. If you have a SPA page the only way it will work is to add hash tags after the url. ...

What do you like best? Free/very inexpensive solution to see what visitors are doing on your website. You have full visibility on where they click, how far down they scroll, where they move their mouse, and you can also record visits.
