Hootsuite Reviews in June 2026: User Ratings, Pros & Cons

I have just discovered that I have been charged £360 by Hootsuite. I do not know what this is for as all of my accounts still show that I am using the free versions and there are no invoices to match the invoice number on the Paypal transaction. I see that this has also happened to other users in this forum. I have submitted a ticket but no response. Please contact me immediately to resolve this !

They just stole $228 from my credit card

They charged me $228 for their auto renewal without any prior notice at all last year. I was so angry I cancelled the account (didn’t use it anyway as it was so restrictive). Why the review now? They just charged again this year. I couldn’t double check today because the system wouldn’t allow me to log in. Why? I don’t have an account with them. Yep. "Scheduling Made Easy"

What do you like best about Hootsuite? I love the ability to schedule multiple posts on different social media platforms. The visual Dashboard also allows me to see my week at a glance and alternate content easily. What do you dislike about Hootsuite? Dislike that I'm unable to schedule the same posts as recurring / every 2 weeks, etc. Also would love the option to schedule to stories. I got my refund

I recently had money taken from my account because somehow I had signed for 2 trial plans: free and team. I was not aware of the teams plans and after 25th June I got an invoice and money deducted from my account. I followed up and wrote a 1 star rating review on this site. I got a response from Hootsuite on my review and after 2 days I got my refund. My 2 cents advise: Hootsuite must make cancelling trials easier (click 1 opt-out button and done) Happy to get my money back...Thanx Hootsuite

I seem to have had the same experience with Hootsuite as everyone else on Trustpilot. I signed up for the free trial period and opted to pay for the monthly subscription, yet Hootsuite attempted to take an enormous 'annual fee' out of my bank account. Fortunately, my bank stopped the transaction and blocked all future payments to them (at the inconvenience of replacing my bank card). What do you like best about Hootsuite? Hootsuite works. You schedule the posts, they are delivered. Though I don't find it the best for managing social for a basic company that only uses 3 or 4 platforms, when you get in the high platform number it is quite helpful. 100% recommend for e-commerce companies.
