An automated event tracker that really goes a long way!

PROS: Heap's own automated event tracking allows for easier analytics platform engagement. When the scripts are made available on the site, each data point is recorded and then hosed in Amazon Redshift. So whenever an event is included in the later going, it automatically extracts data from when the script was initially left on the page. It's a worthy functionality in case you lose track in adding events during the process of onboarding.

"The metrics we've been looking for, in a clear way."

What do you like best about Heap? The setup (Define) is clear and creating new custom events is a breeze for even the less experienced team members. The Retention graph is what we've been looking for for quite some time now and have not been able to create reliable ones until now.

"Best analytics tool out there"

What do you like best about Heap? Once upon a time, there were a few names trying to compete in the analytics market; then came Heap and changed everything. They figured out a way to track all the events on your web page without you telling them what to track. That's a game changer. Track first, build your funnel later.
