The website wants all my company's information and each employees personal and confidential information before they will provide a basic quote for the total package. I get emails from a different person every time I attempt to contact them. Every email refers back to the website that provides no answers to my questions. Absolutely terrible experience

Absolutely terrible experience. After having gone through the extremely long and tedious process of setting up my account, and adding contractors, Gusto tells me that I cannot pay a contractor. And that first, I have to hire a full time employee. Did Gusto ever consider the fact that some employers want to use the service to hire contractors only? And not employees? Unbelievably bad software and support

Unbelievably bad software and support. Supposedly their HR is just a bunch of documents you can google yourself but nothing specific or helpful in any manner, their Payroll missed payment one month and double charged us the next period and their benefits support won't do anything we ask and our rate soon after we signed up went up 19% and they said that normal was 17-20% y-o-y. Easy to see the paycheck stubs, get tax documents and integration is easy with accounting software and its quite simple to use as well and resolves most of the payroll-related issues What do you dislike? Customer support will drive you mad

The service is what you'd find at other providers. But the customer service with drive you mad. I had 2 businesses with them and after a couple exchanges with support, I've chosen to go back to ADP.

Gusto expects me to fix their mistakes

I've been a gusto customer for several years (they used to be called Zen payroll). At first, they were great: well priced, and provided decent services for a small business. Unfortunately, as the company has grown their prices have gone up and their customer service has gotten really bad.Recently they mailed an employee's local withholding to the wrong city. Excellent payroll company with room for improvement

Excellent payroll company with great service and support. Great integration with popular programs like Quickbooks online and Expensify and many others. They resolve issues quickly and are easy to get a hold of. But DON'T use their guideline 401k partner who is a total mess. Also they need a smartphone app. Web page just doesn't cut it for mobile use fast access especially with multi-factor authentication enabled.

What do you like best? I loved how easy it was to see and access all my payroll, 401K etc info. What do you dislike? Having used a lot of antiquated HR tools in my previous companies I had nothing but a positive experience using Gusto. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? This company is a scam

This company is a scam, plain and simply. We signed up for payroll, then cancelled after one payday because they are incompetent. Yet, they continue to withdraw money from my checking account month after month!We are filing official complaints with their bank, our bank, and the authorities. I've certainly never had to take these steps with any other company in my life. Very annoying.Believe the bad reviews.
