UPDATE: April 29. The final word is that I have to do more manual work to get this resolved. Gusto will not fix the error they admitted to causing. I just downgraded Gusto to one star. Scam artists!! Never give your bank account details to them!

They are running a scam. Don't make the mistake of signing up with them. Even after we cancelled (after a year, because we switched to another provider), they continued to withdraw the fees. Despite multiple emails and calls, they refused to stop the withdrawals. When I filed a complaint with BBB, they claimed March 2020 was when we cancelled (though we cancelled in January 2020 and stopped using their payroll services in December 2019), because that was the nth time we sent them an email ...

Great User Experience

What do you like best? It is extremely user friendly. There is nothing that is confusing about it. It's great for the small business that I work for. The sidebar on the left is easy to read and doesn't confuse me. What do you dislike? I dislike the time off portion. We have unlimited PTO at my company, and so it always says I have a negative balance of time off that I have taken. This company is a scam and I hope the government shuts them down. We briefly used their service, cancelled it three months ago, yet they keep debiting our corporate bank account to pay themselves their fee. I have countless emails and forms from their employees promising this will stop happening. They don’t respond to emails and don’t answer the phone. I disputed the charges with my bank, and they had the nerve to contest my dispute with the bank. Shocking and unethical.

Gusto is great and I love the look of the platform

Well designed HR Software

What do you like best? Love the layout and feel of the system. Love the questionnaires that go out. The interface for employees to log in is very user friendly. What do you dislike? Wish the clocking in and clocking out feature worked better with our system. Had a couple tax payment delay issues. But other than that it has been great! Gusto is great!

What do you like best? I like easy it is to access the many different functions of the platform. It's laid out in a way that makes it seamless to find everything: pay, benefits, W-2, you name it! Bad experience with Gusto

I was laid off after nine days because of the coronavirus I received two checks in the mail they were just pieces of paper with an electronic signature and a check number no stamp or watermark no bank name on the “checks” no bank will except them for deposit. I love that it comes at a very low cost, yet it still offers good quality tools that help me organize all pay stubs and have them stored in the software.
