Non-responsive service
Awful, non-responsive service. After hours of setup, and week of waiting, a Gusto rep said I was flagged for fraud. After another week, they never responded as to why or how I could clear this up. What an incredible waste of time.

Gone downhill fast
I really used to love gusto, and when I was setting up payroll and benefits at my new company I thought it would be a no-brainer to go with them. Unfortunately, things there are falling apart at the seams, and I'm seriously considering changing tools for 2021. They cut their support hours in half (meaning only about 4 hours/day of biz hour support) without giving ANY notice to customers. I've had several payrolls messed up by Gusto, even when I ran them with a Gusto customer service expert ...

Gusto is a scam organization that will…
Gusto is a scam organization that will ask you for power of attorney over your bank account and purposely miscalculates your payroll taxes in an effort to justify removing money from your bank account to make corrections. Do not give them power of attorney over your account as they then can steal your money from your account. They make miscalculations on your FICA taxes and other areas so they have an excuse to clean out your account and charge you for trying to fix the figures to be ...

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL
I understand its corona and menus are limited, don't get me wrong but I don't think the word 'bad' does my experience at Gisto justice. We ordered 4 complete different dishes from the very very limited vegetarian options and...1. the pizza was basically a rock by the time it came to us and was just impossible to cut2. the sea bass was beautifully presented but the chefs have clearly not heard of any other seasoning in this world apart from salt because that was all you could taste, no sauce ...

Simple and Clean
What do you like best? Gusto has an easy to use interface without all the distractions and shows you all you need to know about your pay. They also keep the records for you. What do you dislike? So far there is nothing that I don't like about Gusto. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Gusto makes it easy to get paid and see your payments.

Gusto reactivated our account without permission and charged us for the service that we didn't ask for
In June we stopped running payroll. I contacted Gusto and canceled my account that Month. After canceling our account I even confirmed with the support on July 1st that the account had in fact been canceled with their email support. The support agent wrote the following “Upon checking, I can see and confirm that you have indeed cancelled your Gusto account. “ Mysteriously, Gusto reactivated our account in September and charged us $39, directly withdrawing this money from our bank ...

Churches: Avoid Gusto
We chose Gusto because they said they understood housing allowance. They did not set up our payroll this way despite repeated conversations. As a result, excess taxes were removed, payroll was weeks behind, and our accounting was a mess to fix the issues. Everyone was nice, but no customer wants to waste the time on a half-dozen phone calls to even get a fix. If you're a church, avoid Gusto (or at least stress your needs and check their work).

Very Poor Experience
It helps is a payroll service is capable of using withholding tables, which Gusto cannot. They overwithheld - significantly. Further, I would refrain from using any of Gusto's referrals for workers' compensation, to wit, AP Intego. They created a horrid mess which I have been sorting out for the last six months. AP Intego goes through "Sequoia" which goes to AMTrust. So, you wind up dealing with three entities, all of which do not know what the other is doing.[Edit] In response to your ...
