Gusto lied and won't admit it

This review is to express how poorly Gusto handled a recent situation. For the most part, the Gusto product, as an employee and contractor, is fine. This company really makes it difficult…

This company really makes it difficult to contact. They do not opperate durring any normal buisness hours. I have been trying to get my w2 from an old employer. To make sure i couldnt get it they set up the account under an email i cannot access. So I cannot log in to contact any one. I have to use the number. Gusto was great and then this happened...

I really loved Gusto I’ve been doing payroll with them for about two months. I recently referred them to 3 of my partners companies. One in particular needed a new payroll company, I raved about how great they were, so they registered last week like Thursday or Friday and is dealing with the same authentication issues that someone else stated. Unacceptable, Lazy Customer Support

I have been trying to get Gusto configured to run payroll. I am a single person LLC and have had an abysmal experience with Gusto - principally working with their customer support. I have not yet been able to run payroll through Gusto. The first issue was confirmation of me as signatory for the account; the online confirmation failed multiple times. Quickbooks integration, not so much

Gusto says they integrate with Quickbooks by exporting an .iif file. I ran one payroll and imported the data into Quickbooks desktop. The data file was missing 90% of the paycheck information. My first call was 1/12/21. The person said someone will contact me. On 1/15/21 I called again since I hadn't been contacted and the new person said there was no information on my issue. 20+ Weeks to Fix Errors Made by Gusto / Dumpster Fire Customer Support

Gusto used to be better but their complete lack of customer service and incorrectly filed reports not to mention the late filed reports indicate huge issues.Our quarterly reports were filed late by Gusto. 100% gusto issue/error Lots of emails. When there are issues, no support

They have poor customer service, and no useful feedback.When you encountered issues, all they said is somebody is working on it, and then I heard no updates. I kept on sending follow up emails, no responses. 60 to 90 mins wait on the phone just to talk to someone with W2 issues, they didn't know what to do, same answers and asked me to wait for the tax teams to resolve the issues.I just switched my payroll to Gusto 5 months ago, and I wish I didn't do it, and stick to our previous payroll ...

They are the worst payroll company I have dealt with. The information they have provided me is wrong, the account set-up process is not straight forward and if you have a 3rd part accountant working with you there is finger-pointing for something that happens on Gusto's side of the fence. Their UI is not very good and has limited functionality. 2021 is a new year, time for a new payroll provider. I could not recommend them.
