Great alternative to a more expensive picture editing suite

What do you like best? For my purposes, I use GIMP to make basic edits to images, crop images, add gradients, and other minor edits. For these purposes, it works brilliantly. I don't need the more expensive software to do it. Some of the less feature-filled software doesn't do everything that I need, and GIMP strikes this balance perfectly. I have also used this software for so long that I feel very comfortable with it. I don't feel like the interface is un-intuitive, but it seems to ...

Great Free Image Editing Program

What do you like best? I have used GIMP and GIMP2. Currently, I use 2. I started using them several years ago, at the advice of a coworker & friend. I like this because it's free & has a relatively user friendly graphical user interface (GUI. It is easy enough to step through the different options & quickly undo things if you don't like the effect. If you spend enough time tinkering around with different options, I've found I can do everything I've wanted to do thus far. I make a ...

Recommendations to others considering the product it takes some time to learn the features, but there are hundreds of hours of Youtube ...

Haven't met a file it can't open

What do you like best? When my computer can't recognize a file, I know that GIMP can poem it and even export the file in a format more conducive to common workflows. It is an invaluable tool. What do you dislike? I wish it was more user friendly. Several more steps are required compared to other, competitive products. Recommendations to others considering the product It is affordable and useful. It had dabbed us several times. What business problems are you solving with the product? ...
