GIMP Software Review
What do you like best? GIMP is a free software program, alternative to Photoshop. It comes with a huge variety of professional-quality functions for fine-tuning images and photos, and creating your own artwork from scratch. It includes layers, highly customizable brushes, filters and automatic image-enhancement tools, and support for a huge number of plugins. It also works both windows and mac. What do you dislike? The interface is a little cluttered but other than that it is a great ...

Gimp The best free photo editing software
What do you like best? Gimp is free to use! The best thing about GIMP is it is free to use and has a lot of the same capabilities as Photoshop! I probably would not recommend this if you want to use it to make artwork from a drawing pad. It is best to use this for light business work. If you're strictly a graphic designer or a photographer then it is best to pay for adobe products. What do you dislike? Gimp interface can be a bit difficult to grasp at first but there are many online ...

Awesome free image editor
What do you like best? I love GIMP. I have used it for years professionally and personally. It has a bit of a learning curve, but once you start learning the tips and tricks, you have unlimited potential with what you can make. There are a lot of tools that you can use to transform your image into whatever you would like it to be. What do you dislike? Sometimes the toolbars disappear and I cannot get them to re-dock where I want them to. Some of the tool or features are not very intuitive ...

Simple alternative to Photoshop
What do you like best? It's free! Also, very intuitive once you start clicking around. I've been using it for a year and still haven't discovered all the bells and whistles. What do you dislike? Not as user-friendly or sleek as something like photoshop... Recommendations to others considering the product If you're looking for a free alternative to Photoshop, GIMP is your best go-to. Outdated and can cause damage to computer
What do you like best? As a starting graphic artist, GIMP was a great beginner program. It allowed me to get used to drawing via tablet and working with layers. I used a free version which was a perfect way to see if graphic design and art was something i wanted to do. Free is better than spending hundreds of dollars on program you won't use in the future. What do you dislike? Finding a usable version of GIMP was hard for me. All the files i found were either corrupted or containing ...

Great & Free Alternative to Microsoft Visio
What do you like best? For simple diagrams & flow charts that are screen grabbed and appended to other documents this is a great and free tool. What do you dislike? The file saving feature could use improvement. It creates a new save file every time the save button is clicked, rather than over writing the previous file. Although this may be unavoidable since the draw.io platform is website based and "saving" just downloads the file to the default directory. Recommendations to others ...

My Go To
What do you like best? Easy to use, fully featured image editor. What do you dislike? Not really a problem for me but maybe for some, but there aren't the built in "filters" that people are are used to in more "simple" image editors. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? It's FREE! I can resize, layer, edit, manipulate, brighten, images in reports, documentation, instructional documents, website etc.
