Gimp provides almost every feature I need for graphic and photo editing.

What do you like best? The color selection features on Gimp are my favorite. I love that I can make huge or minor selections easily with the click of a button. What do you dislike? What do you like best? The price. That's pretty much what drives any user to jump on the GIMP bandwagon. As a free, open source product you'll get many (but not all of the tools and features you'll find in Photoshop, without having to pay a monthly subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud. What do you like best? I do like how simple it is to get started with. Everything is generic and straightforward to begin with and there aren't many hidden layers.
