Good option on a budget
What do you like best? I like that GIMP is an affordable editing option that is a one time download, with no monthly fee. It does all the essentials. What do you dislike? It's not organized the same as other editing software, it takes some getting used to. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I use it when profits are down and I may can't afford other subscription based software.

A reasonable computer graphics program.
What do you like best? Open source software! I appreciate the open source software movement. I think people who write and develop open source have their hearts in the right place. GIMP is a well featured software that will answer the needs of many people. It's well beyond the built in "Paint" program included in Windows, but in the end it can not compare to industry leading software (i.e. Photoshop. It can be installed locally (as opposed to Adobe's move to the "cloud" software. What do ...

Great image editing software without budget
What do you like best? GIMP is a powerful tool that is available for free and that is actually better than some paid solutions. The good amount of resources, the light size and the low use of resources for basic stuff makes it a lifesaver for those in a hurry or are on a lower budget. As it is constantly being updated, it is safe to assume even more features will be added in the future. What do you dislike? It lacks a professional interface compared to other image editing tools, but ...

So Gimp provides a good alternative to the expensive software on the market. After a series of updates finally you have the possibility to edit the text directly on the picture, working easily on font size and font type, along with the color and alignment. What do you dislike? Unfortunely with Gimp you have no real ...

Best free software
What do you like best? Ease of use, I've so many hotkeys programmed into this that I can fly through edits. Also, it has a very easy interface to learn so we are able to train people to use it quickly. What do you dislike? I feel like there is a quality difference between what I see on the screen and what I render out. What I render tends to be higher quality than what I see when I'm editing. Recommendations to others considering the product Use it and love it. There are a lot of forums ...

Gimp software review
What do you like best? It's a very versatile piece of software when you get to know it. It can handle a lot and I adore the custom pixel by pixel cropping. It's great for logos. What do you dislike? There's a sweetie learning curve. Id love intuitive tutorials built into the program to show you around and help you learn interactively. Also, is very spartan in design and icons don't pop off the screen like other programs I have used. It's not very user friendly but I suppose that's the ...
