Great alternative to Photoshop
What do you like best? This is a great free alternative to Photoshop, it has most, if not all of the functionality and is easy to install and use. If you have the need to do fairly detailed photo editing on an infrequent basis, this product is for you. There are no other free products that come close to comparing the features available in Gimp. What do you dislike? If you are used to PS labels and menus, there is a learning curve to mapping the functionality. It can sometimes be a bit ...

Good as a way cheaper alternative to Photoshop, but still not at the same level
What do you like best? It is a free tool and it has improved in its latest versions, which with the plugins add-ons can reach a good level of editing. What do you dislike? The interface looks a bit obsolete, and it is not as intuitive as Photoshop (if you are used to the shortcuts Recommendations to others considering the product If you are looking for a free alternative to edit and retouch imagery this is it. You might find that it lacks some tools, but overall you can achieve good ...

GIMP IS THE BEST!
What do you like best? This photo platform absolutely saved me when I didn't have access to Adobe Creative Cloud. Functionality was A++, intuitive for users, etc. What do you dislike? Wish it was available on mobile like Photoshop and also more mainstream. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Because I work in design and media, GIMP is the quick answer to any graphics I have to knock out during a busy workday. I have also told my ...

Excellent for a free product
What do you like best? It has all the features of photoshop, without the hefty subscription price. The tools are all pretty familiar, if you are well versed in photoshop, so you will easily be able to pick it up, whether you are using it for work or for personal use. What do you dislike? The one thing that drives me crazy is the export. Every jpeg you open, for example, can't just be saved, because it will save to the gimp format, so you always need to do Ctrl+E to export, which took me ...

Gimp the Photoshop for Everyone
What do you like best? Have I mentioned that it's a free product? Seriously though, Gimp is a photo editing tool that might not have all the bells and whistles of a photoshop but it offers nearly enough for the novice photo editors. What do you dislike? There's something to dislike about it? Well...the bigggest downfall of Gimp is that it's hard to find tricks and tips for it online. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Gimp allows me ...

Gimp
What do you like best? Gimp is a fun way to learn code and produce animation or even teach code to children or someone else. What do you dislike? Gimp can sometimes do unexpected things even when the code is right or just be flakey. Recommendations to others considering the product Gimp can be intimidating at first but I suggest researching it and looking for tutorials and just playing with it. It is Open Source and can be very fun to use. What business problems are you solving with the ...

My Review on Gimp
What do you like best? What I like best about Gimp is the reasonable price point. What do you dislike? I wish Gimp was able to do the things Photo Shop could do but I completely understand that you get above and beyond with Gimp for the price. Recommendations to others considering the product Keep on what you are doing. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We are solving a lot of graphic design issues with gimp.

Great for the price
What do you like best? Gimp works very similarly to Photoshop, but is a free tool. For those familiar with Photoshop, there are some differences in how the tools work; which makes it a great option if you don't want to pay a lot, or can't. For anyone who has never used Photoshop (like I hadn't when I first started using Gimp, it's fantastic. Quickly and easily update images or create your own. What do you dislike? When I first started using Gimp, there wasn't a lot of help available to ...

Good option on a budget
What do you like best? I like that GIMP is an affordable editing option that is a one time download, with no monthly fee. It does all the essentials. What do you dislike? It's not organized the same as other editing software, it takes some getting used to. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I use it when profits are down and I may can't afford other subscription based software.
