Free editor, but confusing.

What do you like best? After working with Gimp for a while it becomes easier, but certainly not user friendly. It is nice to go back to earlier layers to make changes from there and compare different versions of your design. Free program. What do you dislike? What do you like best? Freeware with alot of community support. My favorite thing is using the 2.9 black skin mod with gimp. Also the editing tools are a bit better in some aspects than Photoshop.
