What do you like best? GIMP is fairly lightweight and it offers basic and some more advanced photo editing options. What do you dislike? The GIMP GUI could be more intuitive. It would be nice if it had a main environment where panels can be snapped into place. Currently the different panels can get minimized and act as their separate windows, which makes it easy to lose them What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? The firs greatest ...

Fantastic and Free

What do you like best? Just starting out? On a serious budget? GIMP is a great place to start. While in the end I do prefer the Adobe suite, for my first few years doing minor image and graphics edits GIMP was a great tool. If you aren't certain you'll need Photoshop regularly, try starting with GIMP. Fantastic, in-depth tutorials are available online and the product is fantastic.
