GetResponse user for 7+ years...
I've been using GetResponse for about 7 years now. I have a basic account: emails, autoresponders, forms. Some of the custom design features are frustrating to use, especially the forms, but I stick with GR because in my research they offer the most features for the best value. And they've gotten better over the years. Customer service experiences were a nightmare a few years ago, but MUCH better recently.

Don't do it.... GetResponse is the worst service I've experienced in 20+ years
I've been online since the late 1990s, and have been with just about every email marketing service there is, including Infusionsoft and ConvertKit. GetResponse is the worst service I've ever experienced, and regret my decision to sign up with them. I signed up for GetResponse in March 2023, transferring a list that had been on another service and that I hadn't mailed to in about a year. Then I made a mistake by not trying to re-establish trust with my audience and sent an email for a ...

Worst e-mail service ever
Uploaded my double optin e-mail list of around 200k people, which is 1 year old, to start sending newsletters again. Result: getresponse blocked my account 4 times in just about 2 months and I wasnt even sending alot of e-mails. So I payed 2 full months (not cheap) and couldn't really use their service. Okay I thought, lets find another e-mail marketing service cause this one s*cks. Asked for a refund, cause I couldnt use the full service, but they deny that. Well, lesson learned. If you ...

"New implementation for our team"
What do you like best about GetResponse? The user interface is extremely easy to implement, transfer n new staff to use, and integrate across the organization. What do you dislike about GetResponse? At this early stage, we do not have any dislikes at this time. What problems is GetResponse solving and how is that benefiting you? We have attempted to implement a system of communication that optimizes our ability to streamline the volume of information travelling between staff.

"Easy to Use"
What do you like best about GetResponse? I use GetResponse for basic email campaigns and find the tool easy to use. I was able to jump in and send my first email with limited time spent figuring out how it worked. I'm excited to explore other features going forward. What do you dislike about GetResponse? Nothing yet. Again, we use it for very basic email campaigns. If I had to come up with something though, I'd say more template options. If I do branch out, there are not many to choose ...

Wouldn't recommend!
After many years using our previous e-mail marketing company without problem, we decided to look for an alternative, purely due to cost. We purchased a monthly subscription from GetResponse as they were slightly cheaper, uploaded our data base of 100% opt in clients and commenced our monthly email shot. We are an FCA regulated company and subscribe to the ICO so know about following the rules. GetResponse subsequently blocked our account after the first mail “due to the rate of negative ...

Look for best options!
I decided to use this bad service because it was recommended by Fullstaq marketer. Things were going well, I checked daily for bounces, spam complaints and unsuscribers and all was OK. Only 4 bounces from about 200 email accounts, some unsuscribers (normal) and ZERO spam complaints! However yesterday they flagged my account for review (they call it a "software issue") and suspended any action. Today I received a very basic not fully informative email were they say that my account was ...

"Totally avoidable due to unreasonable terms of cancellation"
What do you like best about GetResponse? The email functionality service is OK but the pricing is high What do you dislike about GetResponse? Their cancellation terms are weird and not the usual for SAAS. We cancelled our service on 26 May and they wanted us to pay for the month of June, although we didnt send even a single email in June 2022. They are using a fine print clause in T&C saying the cancellation notice period is 1 month. Now they are sending emails threatening court action. ...

"GetResponse review: Here is my experience with it!"
What do you like best about GetResponse? GetResponse provides an easy-to-use marketing automation tool that enables users to create automated workflows to engage and nurture their users. The platform allowed me and other businesses to create workflows based on user behavior, such as email opens and clicks, website visits, and form submissions. What do you dislike about GetResponse? GetResponse offers A/B testing for email campaigns but it does not offer this feature for marketing automation ...

A software worth considering if you do not already have one in use
I did not want to get Getresponse initially. My aim was to get Aweber but after reading a few recommndations by its users I opted for it. I have used it for a while now and it works but I wish they had an actual section by section breakdown of the software for quicker implementation by new users. It is easy to say something is easy to use but that is not how people experience things. Having said that, the software is as good as what you put into it
