What do you like best about Epic? I like that there are several different ways to do the same thing in Epic. For example, to view a providers schedule, you can pull it through several different menus. This makes it customized to user preferences. What do you dislike about Epic? "It has some flaws but is considerably better than Crown."

What do you like best about Epic? I liked how the application grouped all the charting and patient information together. It is easily accessible to search and group needed information. What do you dislike about Epic? There are still some things that are difficult to do. Specifically, when trying to gather info on patients, there is still not a 100% standardized template for data entry. What problems is Epic solving and how is that benefiting you? What do you like best about Epic? I like that it is easy to find open time slots to schedule patients. What do you dislike about Epic? I dislike that there are so many tabs that I'm not sure what all their functions are. What problems is Epic solving and how is that benefiting you? Scheduling appointments for patients. Easy to view open time slots on the schedule.

What do you like best about Epic? Care Everywhere is nice to be able to see history at other facilities. Also really like the flow sheet tab for vitals. What do you dislike about Epic? If one user locks their screen with a patient open, no one else can get into the chart. What problems is Epic solving and how is that benefiting you? Seeing care/history at more than just our facility

Communication within medical care. Easier to see what other physcians have said/done for patient

It is the best EMR I have used, but does have significant limitations What do you dislike about Epic? too complicated. focuses on billing and not being a software that is patient focused. too many clicks. too many ways to do one thing What problems is Epic solving and how is that benefiting you? the software is focused on making money and billing

"Easy to use for your unit"

What do you like best about Epic? That it is so simple to use on my unit. Definitely like the upgrade. What do you dislike about Epic? When floated to a different unit i am completely lost. Recommendations to others considering Epic: Make it easier to switch between units What problems is Epic solving and how is that benefiting you? Downtime is horrible and often takes longer then expected to come back up.
