"Scribing made easier with Epic"

What do you like best about Epic? As a scribe, I liked the functionality and multi-tasking ability with the ER software. I also liked being able to pull from past visits and visits from different hospitals using the same software. Typing up history and/or clicking it in takes some time, as is clicking around for the physical exams and ROS, but in the end, once I find a happy medium with templates created, it’s very user-friendly. "Nothing is perfect "

What do you like best about Epic? I like features such as smart phrases and quick actions. What do you dislike about Epic? I wish this system could do a little more with helping you prepare ahead of time. For example, when I have a patient in office for a physical or med check most of the time they're having updated lab work done. "Too cluttery, but intuitive"

What do you like best about Epic? Even though the interface was very cluttered, once you got the hang of it, it wasn't difficult to get from one place to another. I was able to find the relevant patient information I needed with ease. What do you dislike about Epic? There were too many tabs I had to sift through to get to where I needed to be, and the screen was often too busy so it was hard to find what exactly I needed. What do you like best about Epic? I like the user-friendliness and amount of customization EPIC allows for each user. Depending on your specific role you can set the program up with the tools you use most to do your job more efficiently. What do you dislike about Epic? What do you like best about Epic? It is customizable with use of smart phrases and flow sheets for efficiency What do you dislike about Epic? Some tedious options for documentation, usually based upon company that is using. What problems is Epic solving and how is that benefiting you? Efficiency with documentation, easy drop down menus in flow sheets. Easy navigation in between tabs of different notes for ease of sharing information
