"A lot of problems and no help"

What do you like best about Epic? The whole system integrates scheduling, charting, and a lot of other tracking into one. We are able to communicate with any other provider that uses epic in any state. What do you dislike about Epic? Little to no support, training was limited and did not explain the system at all. Depending on how it is set up there are multiple places to document the same thing which can be confusing. Sometimes wish it didn’t keep so many new tabs open when you clicked on a new patient. Recommendations to others considering Epic: Take the time to learn how to do things. "Easy to use for medical records"

What do you like best about Epic? I am able to use templates and coordinate care with other facilities using Care Everywhere. There are templates to use when doing documentation so I don't have to rewrite the same information over repeatedly What do you dislike about Epic? There is no direct access to looking at images There is no algorithms to work with, ie - for prescribing medications an allergy alert flag comes up but no recommended alternatives or similar if a medication is not covered ...
