What do you like best about Epic? I like the flow sheets and being able to quickly click through an evaluation while talking to a patient and saving time What do you dislike about Epic? Typing long paragraphs in flow sheets, it is hard to go in and edit because you have to hold the arrow down and it takes too much time What problems is Epic solving and how is that benefiting you? What do you like best about Epic? I like that it’s a relatively universal EHR program, at least in the Midwest. Most hospitals and clinics in my area require experience with Epic for employment. What do you dislike about Epic? I dislike that Epic does not have safe guards in place to verify that you did not miss a step in the charting process. What do you like best about Epic? Epic is most helpful for charting and medication administration. It allows me to help verify I have the correct patient and medication. What do you like best about Epic? MyChart compatibility and ability to share info with patients, as well as to have collaborative documents and share information electronically. What do you like best about Epic? I really like the badge sign in feature. It helps when you need to get into charts quickly. The tab personalization makes everything easy to find. What do you like best about Epic? I like that Epic is the same throughout all Sentara hospitals, and it is easy to use. I really like the new brain screen that allows me to monitor different patients at all times and to be able to see when each one has a lab or medication due. What do you dislike about Epic? What do you like best about Epic? Epic is very convenient when working at the hospital because it helps locate and track patients information. I like that Epic is the same with all Sentara hospitals.
