Fantastic to learn Spanish!

Fantastic! I am using this app to learn Spanish. It is really easy to use. It has awesome encouragements and different challenges every day. It also gives a good explanations of the grammar. Story telling is a great feature to practice the language in the conversation.

BEWARE! THEY ARE CRIMINALS

Do not download this app, Duolingo is the worst app they are repetitive and you don't learn anything anyway, but besides that they will take money from you even when you cancel your free trial. My daughter liked to use the app and she signed up for the free trial and we canceled it before the time of expiration but we were charged $14.11 and when I tried to email them they ignored me. I gave them a few days thinking maybe they were busy but no response II'm sure they do this all the time, ...

Terrible learning system

Terrible learning system, if you can call it a system. Its stupid and irrelivant to anything spoken normally in th ereal world. Ive been using duolingo on and off for 2 years . in that time ive learned next to nothing from the format they use. If you need to talk to someone about bears drinking applejuice in th ewoods then this is the program. but practical sentances and practical speach is severly avoided by the duolingo program. They will have ducks and owls waving to you till the cows ...

Discriminating against heterosexuals !

Although it is good program to learn language, now they changed all relationships to LGBT. It should remain language program and not a tool for political agenda. I truly respect whoever is LGBT as it is something they were born with, but there are still about 95.5% heterosexual people which are now being discriminated against, in Duolingo.

Stay away from Duolingo until they sort out their payment system!

I too would like to give zero points. I got ‘hooked’ by a free Latin course but then went on to German. Here my problems started. It quickly forced me into Duolingo Plus at £9.49 a month. After 2 weeks I tried to cancel. Not finding any such option on the menu, I went online to read that I must do this by erasing my personal data, this I understood to mean my payment method would be deleted. However, I just saw this sum had been deducted by PayPal on behalf of Duolingo. I then cancelled my ...
