Je recommande Duolingo PLUS

J’utilise cette application depuis 3 mois pour apprendre l’italien. Après 15 jours avec la version gratuite j’ai choisi de payer 7 euros par mois !Je suis retraité de l’enseignement et je peux dire que la méthode est très bien pensée. On apprend comme dans la vie, en retrouvant les mêmes mots, les mêmes expressions jusqu’à ce qu’ils deviennent familiers.Je recommande vivement à qui a la volonté et la patience d’apprendre.

I don't have a bad thing to say about Duolingo. I use the free version and find it super beneficial. I like that they keep updating with new features - They added a new chat, conversational texting, section. Only trouble is feeling committed to it, but that's more on me than it is on Duolingo

Wonderfull that you can learn any language for free. Its hard to be critical, when they provide all that content

Bei der Qualität scheint es sehr auf die Sprache anzukommen, die man lernt: englisch-italienisch fand ich sehr gut, italienisch-deutsch kennt die Variabilität der deutschen Sprache nicht, was manchmal sehr nervig ist, weil man zu oft scheinbare Fehler macht; da fehlt dringend die Überarbeitung! I learn a lot with Duo, and I am not paying for it, I don’t know why some people are??I use it to improve my Spanish and I am learning French. I speak and live in Spain. So the only comment I have is when you choose the language, the flag for Spanish is the flag of Spain, however, the voices recorded are Mexican 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤔 Because of this they use several words which are not used in Spain (Castellano). Duolingo me permet de me mettre en selle pour apprendre une langue. L'aspect visuel, auditif et ludique me permet de mieux comprendre donc apprendre. Je suis vraiment content de l'utiliser chaque jour. Cela fait trois semaines que je suis assidu à la langue espagnol , je ne peux que constater une progression . Je pars de zéro et Duolingo me stimule afin de continuer cet effort dans cet apprentissage linguistique. Merci

I LOVE this app - it keeps me learning!

There seems to be a lot of negativity on here about Duolingo, but I've been using this app for years and it's awesome! I've tried multiple others a long the way, including paying hundreds for Rosetta Stone and Duolingo is by far the best. There are a ton of positive points (eg the stories are so useful!) but purely for the fact that they make an effort to keep you refreshed on the lessons you've already completed - I don't know who else does this?! Good app to keep basics fresh in your mind. Podcasts are fun to listen to, as well. I can't recommend this for learning an entirely new language but it is great for those who have a baseline comprehension.

I started learning Irish on Duo Lingo in April 2020. I have thoroughly enjoyed it and look forward to doing lessons every day. But, I have great difficulty in understanding what the Irish speaker is saying at the end of the prepositional pronouns, and I invariably get them wrong. She drops her voice at the end of the word, and even though I listen to it umpteen times, it is impossible to get it right. As a result I don't think I will continue with the lessons unless this improves. I will ...
