Good but tooooo much marketing

I like it

I have been using it for some time now and its not great but totally ok for learning on the fly. And, it has been getting better over time.

Great but…

I really enjoyed learning with Duolingo. The only thing I don’t like is the autorenewal of the membership as I have not been using the service for quite some time now.

Great but sometimes a little buggy

I really like the app. The only negative I can say is that especially the newer features are sometimes a little buggy

Cursus Frans

Cursus Frans. Las dat als je meedoet in een divisie er mensen tegen je strijden met compleet andere cursus? Vreemd. Verder goed te doen. Kunt vooral veel woorden leren. Als je lessen lang niet hebt gevolgd wordt het een soort “gebroken”. Jammer dat je bij het herhalen van die lessen slechts 10 punten krijgt.

Parti de zéro

Parti de zéro, car je ne connaissais pas un mot d'anglais, j'ai un bon niveau débutant à la fin du programme complet. Je me débrouille pas mal. L'apprentissage est répétitif, parfois rébarbatif, mais ça fonctionne. Duolingo Plus, je n'y ai pas adhéré au vu des critiques. Je suis très satisfait de Duolingo, une application gratuite, rare de nos jours.

Echt fantastisch

Echt fantastisch! Ben inmiddels al redelijk goed in het Frans dankzij Duolingo. Ik heb veel ervaring met het leren van een andere talen (spaans, Japans) heb lessen genomen op de universiteit, in een ander land op school, in nl op een cursus, maar Duolingo heeft mijn voorkeur. Dit omdat het een computer programma is en specifiek op jou voortgang en problemen kan focussen, wanneer jij tijd en zin hebt. Ik heb tot nu toe nooit betaald voor Duolingo, de gratis versie is echt top! Je moet gewoon ...

Such a fast paced, happy, and fun way to learn a language, really helpful, loved it

AFTER A HORRIBLE Rosetta Stone EXPERIENCE...

After a horrible Rosetta Stone experience (wasted a lot of $$ and time) I decided to try the free version of Duolingo and was pleasantly surprised. Not only is their platform pleasing, fast, and fun, it works as promised! the only downside is of course the ads (and hence the 4 stars -- program and content is 5 stars for sure), but hey, IT IS FREE! IGNORING THE ADS IS A SMALL PRICE TO PAY!

"Good for Basic Vocab Attainment"

What do you like best about Duolingo? I was surprised that the app had a lot of features for having conversations and conversation comprehension. Starting at Unit 2 I started to notice this more. I also think that the podcasts and storylines are a great feature to assist with comprehension. What do you dislike about Duolingo? I wish that it allowed me to contact the other people that I can see learning on the app to have conversations with them. I wish that it told more of the grammar rules ...
