Duolingo Reviews in May 2025: User Ratings, Pros & Cons

So far so good

Was using the free version for a while and it's been great. Got fed up with the ads and feel my Spanish reading and vocab has improved a enough to order the 12 month plan. I plan on practising with the app daily. Next trip to Spain will be the real test.

Ik stoorde me ontzettend aan het feit dat ik echt geen woord Spaans sprak op vakantie (ik kende alleen maar si, no en gracias...). Daarom startte ik enkele weken geleden als absolute beginner op 0 met het leren van Spaans via de gratis versie van Duolingo. Inmiddels ken ik al aardig wat Spaanse woorden en korte zinnen en lukt het mij om zelf iets te vragen en te verstaan over dagelijkse zaken zoals boodschappen, terras, enz. Ook lukt het al om van geschreven teksten de grove strekking ervan ...

What do you like best about Duolingo? For me, Duolingo is the best program for learning any language you want, in a fun way, at the time you want. He is happy to learn new words every day that subconsciously take root in your mind, this is the best way to learn. What do you dislike about Duolingo?
