I quite like duolingo

I quite like duolingo. I don't dislike the hearts - makes me concentrate better sometimes. I don't mind the ads - if that means it's free. What I don't like is getting a 'free 3 day trial of super duo' from time to time. I don't mind it being offered to me but I should be able to politely decline. I have my learning strategy based on the free version. Having super duo foisted on me without my consent is bad enough. Telling me it's a free gift makes me very angry.

It’s now working for me …..

I originally gave this app one star but have now changed it to four stars having persevered with it. My only remaining issue is with the paid system; there are so many comments about money being taken out your account for automatic renewal. If I was able to pay for a year only I might sign up depending upon how I get on, but automatic renewal always concerns me. Also, I don’t mind the adverts, it gives me a brief respite from learning which I need being slightly older. I also enjoy earning ...

Misinformation when purchasing family plan

I enjoy the app and I have tried the super plan which is why I decided to purchase family plan. According to the info in the app, you can add other Duolingo users who do not have a super plan and they can keep their strikes and progress. Unfortunately this is not accurate because when my friends followed the link they are not prompted to accept the invitation which led me to google if there is a specific guide. Turns out - at least based on Duolingo’s website - that you cannot add anyone ...

Fantastic

This is a really good app. I started learning spanish and after two weeks I already know loads. Although this provides good learning, the app does carry on giving you adds about getting super dualingo for free. It's not for free, you have to get a weekly plan for like £7 a week. Other than that I think this is a good app that parents should let their children use as not lots of problems.
