They don't tell you about their limits...

We've used DocuSign since 2017 and were satisfied until this year when we learned that there is a limit on their so-called-annual service. It's not published on their website. We hit our contract "send" limit in about 4 months and they were demanding even more money. Classic bait and switch. It is absurd to spend thousands a year on a software service. There are competitors to DocuSign that have unlimited contract send and sign for a lot less than the roughly $1500 we were going to have to pay.

Customer support is non-existent

Customer support is non-existent. I was on CHAT for 1/2 hour to find out how to do a bulk upload. He didn't know how. I called phone support. She didn't know how either. Why does Docusign make it so difficult to do a bulk send?

I had an business account with docusign for 12 years. I was not using it & asked them to cancel the subscription they then sent me an email stating that the only way they would cancel it is if I put in writing that I would not dispute the previous charges. I told them No and the said they could not help me. This should be illegal.

I signed up for a docusign for our finance dept to make it easier to digitally sign documents, mainly purchase orders. The sales page did not clearly show an annual limit on the number of documents that could be signed so it was implied to be not limited. A couple weeks later a docusign rep emails me to say we're already approaching our annual limit and we should discuss pricing. What do you like best about DocuSign? The ease of use ensures that ordinary employees can handle signing documents without any technical assistance.
