Loved the prospect of the product …

Loved the prospect of the product functionality and ability, but it is so behind the competition, and the support is a LOT lost on what the product is and what the competition is - as well as the details of how to use it - that it is too frustrating to use. I bought it for a 1 year contract, and within 2 months, it was worthless and a waste of time. They will give NO refund. This kind of lack of training internal and with customers, is what will hurt them. Jumped to Splashtop, but really ...

Allied health service review of screen connect

Whilst screen connect has proven very useful in our allied health context in controlling testing equipment on remote computers I have found it very difficult to learn how to use it from the help videos. At times there is a lot of difference between the video help and what is exactly on my screen. The help video are also very hard to find information in as there not logically organised and need to be put in a better and more logical order. Our company does not use screen connect as other ...

I believe it has more to do with the end user perhaps...

I believe it has more to do with the user experience where the system says connecting but they don't always realize they need to launch the downloaded file. This can cause confusion as you tell them to launch it and they say 'what file?'.. 'the screen says it's connecting/joining' but they haven't launched the file to actually connect. Overall it's easy to use and does what we need it to. It would be better if you could just connect to one person and share that screen to multiple users for ...

Screenconnect works well but not as good as Logmein

Screenconnect works fairly well but is not as good as Logmein (a benchmark standard. The connection works well and is easy to setup. Most end users are able to quickly connect. It's much less expensive than other options. However, it does not support copy and paste between the local and remote machine. Occasionally, the keyboard will stop entering on the remote side (easily resolved by disconnecting without ending the session and reconnecting. There's not a good way to transfer even small ...

Great software with little problems

Great software. Better then anything else on the market. However some users with little experience in computers have major problems connecting to the support session. In some instances need to go to the properties of the client exe file and unblock to allow it to run. Symantec AV treats it as a suspicious software.

Remote sessions for tech support meet my needs

I'm a web hosting provider. I'm using ScreenConnect in instances where I can't help someone via email or a ticket and a screenshare/remote control session is more effective. I've been pleased so far with the cost to what I get. The ability to customize my interface/environment is fantastic and the interface meets all my needs. I recommend!
