screensharing great. Audio not so good.

The screensharing function is great: simple, clean, functional. The audio from computer to computer is not so great. The threshold is set too high and you have to yell into the microphone where on any other VoIP app I can talk normally.*updated to reply to Connectwise: It is not a question of volume, it is a question of audio level threshold, below which the audio is not captured & sent to host.

great product, support is lacking a bit

Great product, lacks good support. Been trying to customize this since I've had it and I am struggling with some stuff. When I contact the support or chat they say I'll send you over an email with instructions.

ScreenConnect is very good

ScreenConnect is very good, but there are things missing that could make it great. The option to have a static IP address with the online version of SC, even at a small extra change it would be worth it for us. On top of that, the ability to change the port number would be nice too. Remote viewing and management of host files is really needed. We switched from LogMeIn and we used the file management frequently to grab log files for troubleshooting. The mobile is usable but not very good. ...

They offer a great product but you will…

They offer a great product but you will need a lot of training even if you are an IT expert. Also, their sales reps are more than a bit misleading. If I had to add another option with them, I would insist to speak to accounts receivable to make sure ahead of time we are all on the same page.

Scammed by Screenconnect!

I was scammed by somebody using Screenconnect software. I asked Screenconnect via letter post for help. No reply. I asked for assistance through their website. No response. After some work I managed to delete Screenconnect software from my computer. So is Screenconnect an ideal vehicle for scammers? Why did Screenconnect not reply to my requests for assistance? What do you think? My reply:To Screenconnect, or whatever you call yourselves now, refer to the information already sent. Why did it ...

User-friendly, affordable, and super quick.

PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? For the exact same price as that of a single user of Log-Me-In, we're able to include three users to offer support to employees and acquire as much logins as needed. Customized login pages that are specifically made for our company has made things simple for our employees to access any of our official pages. What aspects are problematic or could work better? Gaining access to the UAC can be a bit puzzling. LogMeInRescue would ...

I love ScreenConnect (ConnectWise Control). I have been using it for years.

What do you like best? The Windows and Mac compatibility is very good. In my last position, I used it mostly for Windows (and that company still uses it a lot. In my current position, I use it for Windows and Mac. The Linux support seems like it has some ways to go, but Linux can vary greatly from distro to distro, so I can understand that it could be a difficult task. I love that the agent can be installed as an admin and have a persistent presence. When my users need help, I'm just a ...
