Plugin management can be painful, and you can be stuck on older versions while waiting for plugins to be updated. Recommendations to others considering the product Choose plugins that are regularly updated. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Confluence USER review.
What do you like best? It is so easy to use for documentation and the search engine is working perfectly. No more time spend to search for a document. What do you dislike? It is hard to find as a user. One thing I have seen is a problem with the Active Directory authentication. No sure if it really a Confluence problem but when a user have more than one user ID in the Active Directory some strange thing is happening like the user email disappear in his profile. ...

Confluence - not elegant, but necessary
What do you like best? Confluence helps fulfill a need for one central place to keep technical documents and company wiki articles. Recommendations to others considering the product Confluence integrates well with other Atlassian products like Jira, so ...

Highest Return on Investment even if paying
What do you like best? Plugins, Look&Feel, $, MD. Easy Setup A+ What do you dislike? Requires plugins for full usefulness. A+ Recommendations to others considering the product I haven’t found an alternative, whether free or not that beats the $10 license for small teams. It’s a no-brainer whether hosted or on-Premise. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Common communication hub. Easily version product docs. Personal ...

Good Experience with Confluence
What do you like best? I really enjoy how you have the ability to make 'child pages' off of other pages. It helps organize things and build a roadmap between different parts of projects. What do you dislike? I dislike how clunky it can be to insert equations and images, among other things. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We needed somewhere to work together as a team and all edit a single document and Confluence really ...

Great integrated experience for JIRA users
What do you like best? I really like that it is integrated into the JIRA family of products since cross reference to projects, stories and other issues is streamlined. Also very easy to share when the whole company already has JIRA. What do you dislike? The recent redesign is a bit harder to get used to coming from the original. When the new UI was released each area of the product had a mandatory click-through tutorial on the new interface. Recommendations to others considering the ...

Confluence
What do you like best? Confluence offers an effective way to create and share content, and collaborate with your teams on projects. With approx. 3 months of Confluence experience, I found it very easy to learn and organize page data! My top feature is having page edits notify your team for the latest updates - this way, we can stay current and modify plans and functional requirements as needed. What do you dislike? I prefer full control over my content - and without being an admin, ...
