Good place for documentation

What do you like best? It integrates with other Atlassian products well. What do you dislike? It can feel cumbersome at times to edit pages and directory structure. Recommendations to others considering the product If you are already using Atlassian tools, Confluence is a great choice. If not, definitely look around at other products. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? All our in-house documentation is on Confluence.

Outstanding tool

What do you like best? Easiness and flexibility to use. It's easy to build up a knowledge base with Confluence. What do you dislike? You just need to pay attention when posting a new page to nest it correctly. But, wait! If you do it wrongly, it's really ease to fix! What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Using primarily as knowledge base. Everytime a team member (or even a customer needs something with a procedure, you just send a ...

Confluence helps keep our team on the same page

What do you like best? Confluence helps solve the problems of needing a knowledge base as well as work spaces for our employees. We can host our documentation for our customers or have spaces for internal access only. We also love the questions plug in which allows us to interact with our customers, and for them to interact with each other. What do you dislike? The search feature is lacking. It would be better off if we used a custom search engine instead. There are times when you get ...

Confluence real collaboration suite.

What do you like best? The product change the way the company work, from spread knowdlege based on Word documents to a collaborative enviroment where all people share their knowdlege instead of storing on the private spaces. The conectivity with other Atlassian products, like JIRA, we heavily use the connection between Confluence and JIRA, showing JIRA issues on confluences pages. What do you dislike? The price, is to high, also plugin prices, sometimes they are higher than ...

Great software to document work files.

What do you like best? I like the editor the best. It's very easy to add a document and directly edit it like a word document, especially the links on confluence itself can automatically change to a file. I can also like people's new post and follow specific pages or documents. Whenever there is a change I can get an email notification and it shows the changes. What do you dislike? People keep adding new documents and it turns out tons of information there. If there can some tools for ...

Great wiki features

What do you like best? I loved being able to manage our internal wiki and marketing materials in Confluence. Being able to freely distribute information and not have to worry about versioning was fantastic. I also like being able to drop files straight into the wiki pages. What do you dislike? It was hard to learn about the features and capabilities. A lot of it was just trial and error. If there had been some learning materials to reference I would have liked that. Recommendations ...
