Good tool for team collaboration via documentation
What do you like best? Multiple types of pages, ability to modify the page hierarchy, document editing capability What do you dislike? It's missing drag and drop for reordering the page hierarchy. Current method is clunky. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Document sharing across a distributed team on two coasts.

Excellent Platform
What do you like best? The ability to collaborate and share workspaces, files, etc... What do you dislike? It is a tomcat app that can be challenging to set up. Recommendations to others considering the product Recommend hacing someone skilled in Linux and MySQL or Oracle set this up and configure it. The Best of Documentation
What do you like best? Great features for both authors and readers. Powerful tools for editing that produce great documents, all in the cloud. There are tons of pre-built macros that, thus far, have covered everything I've wanted to include in a document. Custom macros are also available for power users who have more complex requirements and more technical capabilities. What do you dislike? Getting PDF exports to look good is a time-consuming process. What do you like best? I appreciate the simplicity of creating pages to record info and track project details. The fact that it works with JIRA is a plus. What do you dislike? It's not always great for formatting information and text with pictures What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? A Good way to store and share information
What do you like best? We use it as an informational - aka wiki - page. It's very easy to use and allows you to track changes between versions. What do you dislike? Some page settings are not as intuitive. It doesn't allow for too much customization. Still learning Confluence
What do you like best? It would seem to replace OneNote. OneNote has been very cumbersome when trying to use it as a collaboration tool. What do you dislike? It is just a new piece of software that i have to learn. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? OneNote is complicated when it comes to sharing and collaboration. Confluence offers a UI more like social media.
