Confluence is a useful, easy to use documentation software.
What do you like best? The page editing options is easy to use. It allows creation of readable documentation without allowing too much freedom to create inconsistent design patterns. What do you dislike? Security can be cumbersome for sharing. I work a lot across departments and sharing documentation with users elsewhere is not always simple, especially for one time documentation use. Recommendations to others considering the product Documentation in this tool can easily get messy. ...

A great WIKI solution with integration into many other essential tools for any high tech company
What do you like best? The wiki system is refined and well done, drafts and version control built in, useful macros and plugins available by default. The ability to diagram things in the middle of a document to make documentation clearer and more effective is great! What do you dislike? Cost and back-end environment if you want to self manage can be a pain. Recommendations to others considering the product A great product to use if you want to use the other provided tools. They ...

simple yet powerful wiki-style tool
What do you like best? If you have used any wiki-style site, Confluence is similarly simple and intuitive to use. That it connects with Jira and can show data from Jira is incredibly helpful and useful. What do you dislike? For those who are used to Microsoft Word and/or Google Docs type solutions, the wiki formatting and style can be a learning curve. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We use it for internal documentation and ...

Confluence - a supprt agents guide
What do you like best? Confluence allows us to really get a grip on what feature we need to implement, the status of bugs, and any progress we're tracking on company projects. I like the notifications (can be set to a weekly review and general ease of use of the platform. What do you dislike? The new layout is harder to navigate, and the feature/status are not displayed clearly. I think improvements can be made for onboarding a new user (aka feature tour before they get started. More ...

A good documentation tool.
What do you like best? I like that it is used as a one center of truth for all types of definitions of metrics. It provides good options for organizing all types of documents and a lot of customization. What do you dislike? Sometimes it doesn't structure things the ideal way that you want it to with it's templates and they could be a little difficult to customize. Recommendations to others considering the product Give it some patience when trying to format. You can always just ...

Solution to Google Docs Disorganization
What do you like best? Confluence is very efficient when it comes to aggregating sources, research, documentation, policy, across companies and best of all across the different teams within a company. What our previous method for aggregating documentation (Notion lacks was for one the organization and online "filing cabinet for the different teams and the different categorization of documents/analysis. It is also more robust in being able to display analysis for the more analytical teams ...

Easy way to create wiki pages
What do you like best? Confluence really filled our need to create quick content to communicate to the different teams of our company the current state of the different projects we are working on. What do you dislike? Maybe it's the way we structured our spaces, but sometimes it's difficult to find specific pages. There is no real place in confluence to see the hierarchy of pages and spaces. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? ...
