Confluence is a potential Wikipedia for companies and their products, services and projects
What do you like best? Different kind of content to write: from meeting notes to blog post, requirements, etc. Task assignation with deadline is very useful, integration with Jira with option to open tickets from there immediately is useful too. The tool provide the possibility to build very self-explaining content, especially if you work with Digital Product and you want to present your product and improvements to the entire company. What do you dislike? Pages organization can ...

How Confluence Works in our Software Company
What do you like best? Working with confluence is a game changer when it comes to documenting all internal procedures. Like any company, there are 1000+ procedures and onboarding new people is tough when they have nowhere to go to read about it. What do you dislike? Although Confluence is great, the initial setup was a little tough. I guess you need to be pretty technical to be able to know everything about it before embarking on your first post. Recommendations to others considering ...

It has various features like the task to be assigned to someone or to solve the issue which are very helpful. I like this program very much. What do you dislike? Sometimes there is unnecessary updating. I would recommend to review the design of the program like colours, etc. and to update it from time to time not to get tired of it. ...

Best in Class Wiki
What do you like best? Confluence is easy to use and supports a range of plugins to enhance the capability. It is used by our business for all internal wiki and documentation requirements. Great for open and collaborative teams. What do you dislike? Confluence's ease of use creates some challenges in terms of creating a storage model that enables information to be stored in a way to index and find it later. It has a limited hierarchical structure against other competing products which ...

Easy to use colloboration and knowledge-share platform
PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? With Confluence it is very easy and fast to create new articles from scratch or from template, organise them and search for a particular content. All controls are intuitive and you don't need to read the documentation or undergo training. "Watch" function helps you to keep up with updates in the entire knowledge space. Confluence is very well integrated with other Atlasssian solutions, like JIRA. Personal spaces of users can be used ...

Eh.
What do you like best? I like the collaborative environment. I can see who made changes and audit the changes that were made. It's a good tool for sharing documentation and software updates, and links nicely into JIRA to review details of bugs and enhancements What do you dislike? The search functions are terrible! It is impossible to find an article if you do not have an exact match on a couple words in the title. It would likely work better if everyone in the organization used the ...

My team uses the app for documentation. Our company documents upcoming and new requirements on it. Our developers, as well as QA and BA teams also use it productively. The search feature is useful and you can find what you need easily. You can tag users on a page to ask them questions. Plus, you can follow the ...

Great tool for performing collaboration
PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? I can easily add, change and remove pages within the system and to share with others or to set everything private. The design is modern and intuitive. I’m able to assign tasks for my clients, to setup meeting notes and takeaway action items. The version control of files is extremely easy and several people can edit same file at the same time. What aspects are problematic or could work better? In my experience, it’s not always ...
