A Powerful Part of the Atlassian Suite
What do you like best? Confluence is a powerful wiki for internal documentation that can also be used for external documentation. One of its most powerful features is its seamless integration with the rest of Atlassian's suite. What do you dislike? Confluence easily becomes an information architecture nightmare. I do not think this problem is specific to Confluence, but Confluence can get an edge by addressing the problem. A small, annoying thing is the inability to pick custom colors ...

Best tool for sharing Documentation
What do you like best? Atlassian Confluence is a great tool when it comes to working together in a team and sharing the documents. It is so simple to use simply create pages and the edit interface is as same as Microsoft word which makes it convenient. You can simply put Jira ticket number in between and it will make a link to that. This tool also organizes all the pages in a very productive manner. What do you dislike? It is a bit annoying sometimes when it triggers an email even for ...

A better way to work on any project.
What do you like best? The best thing about Confluence is, without a doubt, its modern appearance, along with its own functionalities, which has made our workers accept to start using the tool with courage by liking it and seeing how easy it is to use and at the same time how useful it is. Confluence also allows you to send feedback for published projects and perform any type of iteration until the work is finished. What do you dislike? So far we have not seen anything that has ...

Confluence is one of the best shared space to keep, share and organize documents, files etc..
What do you like best? I found it better than other document repository line Perforce and SharePoint. Easy to create new pages, upload document and quick Search. A power point presentation, a MS World document or an excel sheet can be linked or directly viewed on the browser. Browser based searching is better than folder based doc sharing . Good add on functionalities. Good Theme and controls What do you dislike? Browsing page inside page is sometime annoying. Setting ...

Confluence is a modern wiki for your team
What do you like best? Confluence has a fairly simple WYSIWYG interface that allows the easy creation of pages, articles, blog posts, etcetera. Templates can be created for easily replicating a style of page. One of the best features is the meeting notes pages. During a meeting simply add the topics of discussion and '@' mention users to send them a notification that they should check out the final document. You can also assign 'action items' that will remain part of a list of tasks until ...

Powerful but complicated to use as an end user - a lot of set up required.
What do you like best? The ability to quickly record team pertinent information and how it connects into Jira. Ability to quickly make a share and tutorials with internal members of staff. Easily documenting and recording policies team centric and also company wide. I would hate to know how many hours I have spent recording documentation in there. Because of the easy ability to quickly record information we have used it as the corner stone of our on-boarding strategy for new ...

Great tool for knowledge sharing and team documentation
What do you like best? Confluence is a great tool for sharing and collaborating on training notes, product documentation, and team information. One of the most useful things it offers is the ability to search for documentation written by a functional area outside of your own. This reduces the time spent on knowledge transfer sessions or lengthy explanatory emails. What do you dislike? When creating pages, editing can be a little frustrating at times. For perfectionists like me, it can ...

Love Confluence
What do you like best? I love using confluence to document the aspects of our product development. In an organization with dozens of downstream services, I find myself fielding questions from other product managers and developers about our micro services. Confluence makes it much easier to handle the knowledge transfer by directing said PMs and Devs to our confluence pages to get the answers they need without having to come to me first. It saves me so much time as a PM as well as the ...
