Communicate & Collaborate with ease
What do you like best? Confluence is great for ensuring that ideas, documentation, requirements, RCA's and just about anything else you can write down is stored and displayed for your entire team / organization to collaborate on. What do you dislike? There's not much to dislike other than the plugin's and their various pricing. So you have to really do some research to ensure you get a quality plugin at a price which is doable for your organization. The good news is that most offer ...

A great tool for team collaboration
What do you like best? It's very easy to use for people who are familiar with Wikipedia. People can create, modify pages as well as the relationship between different pages. Very convenient for teams that want to have a shared documentation. What do you dislike? Every time there is an update on the certain pages (the pages that are related with you, I would receive an email notifying about it, which could be kind of annoying sometimes. But I believe there is some way to have the ...

WYSIWYG FTW
What do you like best? No markup required with excellent copy-paste support for images. This reduces the barrier of creation for non-tech oriented disciplines like art and design. I also like how the parent-child relationship between pages is virtual to the point that you can programmatically display all children of a page as well as reparent any page to a different parent. Other features I like: * Export to PDF (great for sharing docs externally * Table of Contents Widget * ...

Great resource for creating internal knowledge base articles
What do you like best? Customizability in creating page "templates" from which to build knowledge base articles, including imagery, stylized text, and even files and attachments. What do you dislike? Sometimes finding the articles that i created can be sort of difficult; a way to index articles so I can find them would be nice. Recommendations to others considering the product If you're creating a knowledge base of articles, make sure you have a way to find knowledge quickly, or the ...

Good but the search could be better
What do you like best? The Overview Page, Ability to create different spaces, ability to comment on posts, updates that we see on regular basis. All of these makes it a really cool software. What do you dislike? The software still lacks a modern UI. Also, it should have a better Search feature. That's the major things! Recommendations to others considering the product Please consider using the software if you have a large amount of data / processes / policies to manage. What ...

Great Team Sharing Documentation Software
What do you like best? The ability to create spaces for a specific project and pages within that space to organize your project documentation. It also has the ability to create templates the team can use to create consistent documentation. The feature to summarize or create dashboards extracting data from the templates is very useful for generating a quick snapshot of the projects. What do you dislike? The editing tool is not as robust as I would like. If you have a table within the ...

Game changer for CS!
What do you like best? I like being able to keep everything for my team in one place. We used to have one place for FAQs, another place for meeting notes/general updates/links, etc. Having one place to point the team toward that is also accessible by other teams is very convenient. What do you dislike? It is a little confusing to use at first. Thankfully I was able to find a few YouTube videos that helped walk me through the process. Those were so helpful! What business problems are ...

Monster Functionality but the worst and slowest UI as the result
What do you like best? There are may things I like about confluence apps. First of all - the apps provide a great variety of functional tools that any company can find useful. Second of all, from the very beginning of your experience with confluence apps you will have pretty much everything needed and you will be able to expand with extra extensions and extra plugins. All that makes Confluence great additional to other powerful apps of the family like Jira, Stride, Hipchat. The ...
