Easy to use colloboration and knowledge-share platform
PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? With Confluence it is very easy and fast to create new articles from scratch or from template, organise them and search for a particular content. All controls are intuitive and you don't need to read the documentation or undergo training. "Watch" function helps you to keep up with updates in the entire knowledge space. Confluence is very well integrated with other Atlasssian solutions, like JIRA. Personal spaces of users can be used ...

The best tool for sharing and storing documentation
What do you like best? I have deployed Confluence in every environment that I've been a part of. It's the best tool for sharing and storing documentation across teams thanks to its robust permissions tools, large assortment of content templates and a marketplace with thousands of add-ons that offer even more functionality. What do you dislike? The pricing structure for the on-prem deployment is such that small businesses cannot easily afford licenses for all or even most of their ...

Offers loads of useful features
PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? I love Confluence because it offers many good features. It is cloud-based which makes it accessible anywhere, on any device. My team uses the app for documentation. Our company documents upcoming and new requirements on it. Our developers, as well as QA and BA teams also use it productively. The search feature is useful and you can find what you need easily. You can tag users on a page to ask them questions. Plus, you can follow the ...

Not too intuitive
What do you like best? It's nice that everyone has access and can get connected. The Watch feature is great, because you can watch issues that are relevant to you, and get instant updates. What do you dislike? The search feature is not very accurate, and it's really, really hard to find the articles you're looking for. I've had to bookmark everything I use regularly (even stuff I've created because it doesn't come up accurately on a search. Recommendations to others considering the ...

the easiest and most effective way to share information and knowledge in the company
What do you like best? Simplicity, accessibility from anywhere, from desktop or mobile. The fact that it is a scalable system that grows together with your business. The pricing is affordable & you can choose also a minumim license to start with a small budget. What do you dislike? It is not possible to connect folders that contain files as you can do in other software. The plug-in pricing system is linked to the number of available licenses and it is not possible to pay only for some ...

Confluence helps us keep information up to date
What do you like best? we use confluence for landing pages for different customers. Rather than wait for the web design team to update pages, we control the content. We can update any time as needed. And, anyone on the team can make updates. What do you dislike? I don't see a downside to this. We can add links, attach documents, insert graphics; we can basically use this platform to provide all of the onboarding information that customers need. I also don't know of a peer platform that ...

Excellent system for information sharing

You can share ideas on various technical topics like troubleshooting issues and setting up demos for automated programming. Each team can create their own page and fill it up with useful info. The app is also suitable for our Agile Scrum environment and we use it to organize sprint retrospectives. What aspects are problematic or could ...

Good features, but can be hard to navigate
What do you like best? Easy to have large teams all report on work and to have a time line. Easy to insert various media to show plots and graphs/tables/records etc. This is very convenient for our team of 30 people, of which maybe a handful may have large updates/presentations, whereas others might have just text or a graph or two. What do you dislike? Navigating the pages seems quite difficult. To find certain pages, is quite a chore, especially because the search functionality seems ...

Recommend Confluence
What do you like best? I use the Confluence applications on a regular basis for my work and there are several things that I like about them. The mobile applications provide a nice variety of tools that most companies could find to be beneficial. At the start of your use of the Confluence mobile applications you'll have all of the tools that are necessary to expand extensions and plugins. The Confluence mobile applications are extremely well compatible with each other - they can be ...
