Confluence is a tool that generates collaboration and information management

What do you like best? I can say that it is an integral tool, drag and drop, that allows me to format the page. In the same way I can access to navigate very easily. It is ideal, it provides me with updates on the last document I have made. It is exceptional because I have the technique to customize my working. And it gives me visibility and take control of all my software projects. What do you dislike? I may find it somewhat difficult because access may be limited, taking this ...

Too much to dig through

What do you like best? I like that it is a great place to store A LOT of information. I also like the team section, it is probably the easiest part of the app to use. Not that there is much to do there. What do you dislike? I dislike how overwhleming it can be within the app. It is not user friendly, you have to search for most things and it is nearly impossible to use as a wiki for new hires. I have since switched to Notion which is very very easy to use (Similar to trello and ...

How confluence makes easier my job

What do you like best? Its the most relevant tool we use in my office to check procedures or templates or info we deliberately implement with the clients in customer service. What do you dislike? There is no option to open an independent browser and keeping the sheet you have been reading without opening it again. Recommendations to others considering the product: Do not hesitate to use this software as this helped me out in my job. It is well organized and filled with ...

What you see is what you get

What do you like best? Super intuitive tool to keep all your documentation tidy and updated. Perfect for big or small teams. Their macros are some of the most powerful i've seen. What do you dislike? Lately they are doing a lot of updates that make the user experience not so good. I wish they would listen more to the community to make their changes. Also, you have to pay for any additional plugin. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you ...

Managing project information, architecture documentation and user stories with Confluence

What do you like best? It is a great tool to keep all your project documentation, share it with your customers and complete your user stories as well as the acceptance criterias of each other What do you dislike? It would be fantastic if the editor allows you more flexibility at the moment you write an article. Also the mobile appearance could be better because it limits the functionality Recommendations to others considering the product: I recommend use Confluence with Jira ...

Found a Replacement for this quickly

What do you like best? While Confluence served its purpose and provided a great method for keeping track of team knowledge and procedures. It had a nice layout and was easy to search and organize into pages, but it wasnt particularly "smart" or advanced. What do you dislike? It didn't offer much. Video quality was always reduced when embedded. Recommendations to others considering the product: I think you should look into other programs like guru. What problems are you ...

Place for everything

What do you like best? I like the opportunity to have important information in one place. Every member of team can add or edit information. So we can share our best practice. What do you dislike? To be honest, I dont have anything to reproach. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We use it for design of api that we develop and also like storage for info about login, conventions, agreed structure of projects etc.

Great for making a knowledge-base

What do you like best? it's easy and quick to update and make new pages, which is important because if something is hard or slow people will be less likely to use it, making the knowledge-base or documents less up-to-date What do you dislike? multiple people can edit a page simultaneously, but i wish you could see the other people's cursors like in google docs What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? we keep all our knowledge base for ...

Essentially a Wikipedia for your business

What do you like best? We use it to distribute brand assets and best practice materials. Good way to ensure everyone has up to date information What do you dislike? Can be a little restrictive in terms of design What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Distribution of information over a very large company. Everyone has the most up to date info as we can update centrally.
