Great for team collaboration!
What do you like best? Great for team collaboration and allows for important items to be kept in one spot. Having the the search function is also really nice to find items within Confluence at any time. What do you dislike? Being that I have to sign into Atlasssian to get into Confluence, it would be nice to have a better integration with JIRA (having a single sign on screen though is very nice. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? ...

I've used confluence for several software projects
What do you like best? Confluence is an efficient place to share ideas and project updates. What do you dislike? Confluence is a great tool for sharing project notes, plans and reports across teams.
What do you like best? The macros really make it easy to customize based on what you need. What do you dislike? Not good for having multiple people edit a single page at one time. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? It helps teams document their process and projects and keeps all important documents in one place that is easily accessible to others.

Confluence brings JIRA integration and a poor editing UX to the crowded wiki space
What do you like best? Confluence's primary advantage is that it is integrated with JIRA. The wiki experience it provides is good. Reviewing changes and version histories is particularly good. What do you dislike? I strongly dislike Confluence's wiki markup syntax. I wish Confluence supported Markdown, or at the very least used a syntax that did not employ many of the same symbols as Markdown. This is my only complaint, but it is important. GitHub also has integrated wikis and offers a ...

Confluence Review
What do you like best? I really enjoy the breadth of knowledge we have available in confluence. The search engine feature is great and often matches me with exactly what I'm looking for. I love how easy it is to create and maintain pages. There's a lot of cool things you can put on pages and it's more customizable than most web-building tools I've used. What do you dislike? I dislike the feed I have as it's confusing and not entirely related to me. We use Confluence a whole lot so ...

Great Knowledge Base Tool
What do you like best? We use confluence for our internal communication and knowledge base. We also use it for documents that we know are going to be needed by future hires. For this purpose, it is a great solution. Our dev team also uses it for all of their internal documentation so they do not end up reinventing the wheel. What do you dislike? The system is developed with a folder system style layout. While this can be effective I think there are some other ways to make the data ...

Very good product for Documentation
What do you like best? In my experience, Confluence is good for 1. All shared documentation(text, excels etc in network drives are replaced by Confluence. 2. Documentation for business processes, policies and procedures, technical information, etc. 3. Single sign-on What do you dislike? There is no way to convert our previous documentation from Fogbugz to Confluence. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Since our company ...
