Good in theory... lags a ton!
What do you like best? I love the categorization of different issues. What do you dislike? The more data that's there, the more it lags. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We report bugs and get updates on them and communicate them for folks that are relevant. Also is searchable for future reference.

A better version of Sharepoint
What do you like best? My first exposure to Confluence is at my current job. It provides a friendly intuitive interface similar to Sharepoint but with a much more simpler UI that fits today's typical standards. Easy to update which creates a nice presentation. What do you dislike? While the features to link and show actually show Google Spreadsheet content is great, it would have been extremely handy to edit documents directly in Confluence rather than clicking a link to edit the ...

Internal Wiki Administrator
What do you like best? Everything about Confluence is very logical. From page hierarchy to group security settings, it can be picked up pretty easily. What do you dislike? The space permissions can be somewhat counter intuitive. Lack of visibility into overall space permissions can lead to unexpected consequences when overall space permissions cancel out the "locked vs unlocked" security settings set at a local level by an unsuspecting user. Recommendations to others considering the ...

Confluence

Permissions and restrictions are a disaster, user management is a bit of a nightmare. System upgrades while easy to apply can sometimes break the system or other plugin support. Overall pretty clunky. Recommendations to others considering the product Find another solution. What business problems are you solving with the ...

Confluence for internal collaboration
What do you like best? The confluence web app has a great interface for collaborating efficiently with the team members. I particularly like the tagging feature to notify team members to take action. What do you dislike? Being a web app, it can sometimes feel slow and sluggish. WYSIWIG editors never feel native enough for me, but that's a personal preference. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Tracking projects and ...

It's an OK wiki tool
What do you like best? It's easy enough to use, I guess. It's just a run of the mill tool for creating a wiki. I don't know why you would buy one. What do you dislike? It's sort of hard to know what kind of content to create. Best practices aren't really that clear. Recommendations to others considering the product More workflows or best practices. Show others in your group how to use it. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? ...
