Review of Confluence for an Engineering Wiki
What do you like best? The ability to customize the layout of each page, as well as the search feature are huge benefits from some of the other wiki software that we've used. In addition, we use many other atlassian products, and the integration between Confluence and these other products is very helpful. What do you dislike? The tool does not force consistency in formatting and style between internal pages. This puts a huge burden on the owner of the pages to handle consistency issues ...

The place to store everything- and it's searchable, too!
What do you like best? I like that I can make pages for reference and also that it's searchable, and I can see edit history. What do you dislike? Sometimes, I find myself lost in hierarchy of pages (child pages, master pages, etc so perhaps better organization of pages could be useful Recommendations to others considering the product consider number of users you will have and how you will use it. perhaps an internal policy of what goes on confluence would be a good guide for ...

Great solution for collaboration
What do you like best? Confluence was quick to deploy for collaboration between various vendors. it is quite secure so it allows us to collaborate with people and vendors outside of our employee base. What do you dislike? the UI is a bit clunky but overall its easy to work with. Best tool for content collaboration
What do you like best? One of the best features of Confluence is how easy it is to create and distribute content. Pretty much anyone in our team is able to generate pages to share content using nice charts, tables and ready-to-use widgets. Another great thing is the tight integration with Jira. What do you dislike? One of the things I don't like about Confluence is the difficulty to organise and navigate through existing pages. And another snag is the steep pricing curve for large ...

Review on Confluence
What do you like best? Wiki or Confluence acts like a shared folder for depository of documents, processes and references. The whole organization can access, add and edit on the entries for a collaborative effort. It works well for us as there are remote staff in the team that needs guidance from time to time and Confluence is the right venue for that. What do you dislike? What I dislike is that there are limited formatting options. Tables move and column width cannot be fixed. Also, ...

Great Documentation Portal that is easy to use for Collaboration
What do you like best? I like the ability to customize project spaces into really whatever you want via the page structure, attachments, and macros that are built in. It is very easy to use to store documentation over a larger project and easy find/reference past info which is very helpful. What do you dislike? The cloud version of confluence has problems at times with bugs from Atlassian that range from page editing, collaborative editing, & general problems saving updates. I ...

Confluence makes live team coordination and organization easier
What do you like best? I like the integration with other applications (ex., JIRA and the ability to work in a shared space with my coworkers. The features that allow me to save resources and information for efficient access make my job easier. What do you dislike? Sometimes, navigation is trickier than I would like--finding the information I'm looking for in searches, etc is not always successful. Things get hidden! Recommendations to others considering the product If your team ...

Confluence Review
What do you like best? It makes it easier when working with multiple people on one project. Everyone can put their updates and notes in one area which makes less room for error. What do you dislike? There is SO much that it can do that it can sometimes be confusing. I usually stick to what I know. Recommendations to others considering the product Make sure that everyone on your team is using it, otherwise it really doesn't serve its entire purpose. If you can get everyone from ...

An okay platform for organizing for team collaboration and project management
What do you like best? Confluence is a decent platform for documenting, discussing and following up on the execution of various ideas. Personally, I have only used it for marketing projects, for which it seems to be sufficient in terms of capabilities. I find it very useful that Confluence is integrated with Jira, which makes tracking the progress of an idea into a task into a completed project very easy and transparent. The possibility to "watch" a specific page/space is also neat ...
