Great Idea, Messy execution

What do you like best? The functionality itself is great. The notifications out of the gate are well configured. What do you dislike? It's a little overcomplicated and the workflow isn't extremely logical at first. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Team collaboration and resolving projects that may not fall under a specific team's umbrella.

Use

What do you like best? It's user-friendly and easy to navigate. Easy to edit the personal page. the functions pretty easy to edit. There is a lot of online documentation on how to use it, what you can edit, and how to manipulate certain pages. The admistration is easy as well. What do you dislike? I administration could be a lot more refined and also the setting of the security of the pages. also when setting up the groups and users it could be better by linking the security to a ...

Very friendly way to edit and keep documents organized

What do you like best? I love the easiness to edit and organize documents in a hierarchal structure. Documents look nice and professional. The ability to create templates is also very useful. Love collaborative editing and interconnectability with JIRA . What do you dislike? Although editing is easy, options are limited when comparing to other tools such as Word. When integrating with JIRA, it doesn't allow to map customized table columns to JIRA issue fields. To see the edit or share ...

Huge potential but a challenge to become proficient with.

What do you like best? I like how robust the tool is and the things that can be accomplished by tracking and collaborating with others inside Confluence. What do you dislike? I dislike how it feels like I have to relearn the tool every time I get into Confluence. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Easiest wiki to get staff engagement with

What do you like best? Staff very quickly were able to understand how to add content to pages, add pages and link between pages. This meant they very quickly started using it to not just add information but to refer to it multiple times per day. What do you dislike? I'm a geek at heart and I wish it's markdown support was better than it is. Recommendations to others considering the product Try it. Especially if you integrate it with other Atlassian products such as JIRA (ticket ...

Excellent Documentation Program + Jira Integration

What do you like best? Confluence has been essential in our group for documenting project notes, deadlines, documentation, etc. We also use it to document templates, internal standards & processes, and knowledge bases. I love that it has so many possibilities and integrations, it is VERY customizable. What do you dislike? The only problem I see with Confluence is that it isn't very user friendly unless you are somewhat technical. It's not really plug and play for many. At a software ...

Decent for what's intended

What do you like best? It's a blank space that you can configure/organize the way your organization needs. There's a lot of flexibility and it really depends on how you have chosen to configure. The marketplace is great to find a plugin that you need. What do you dislike? Sometimes it's too flexible and can get messy fast. If you leave it open, it can end up a jumbled mess. It still needs someone to manage/organize the content if you want to prevent that from happening. ...
