What do you like best? Ability to store.. Organize and retrieve documents, notes and important meetings What do you dislike? I wish there was direct messaging feature available on confluence and linked with jira What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Too vague a purpose, too poor a search function

What do you like best? Confluence, at its best, encouraged team member to take pride in architecting a record of their works and system and anything they felt others should be doing. The many ways to make a blank confluence page m eaningful, tight integration with diagramming tools, all made it a high-potential platform. What do you dislike? While Salesforce.com has a preset group of Sales-related objects, relationships, workflows, etc that guide your team in making good use of the ...

Very easy team collaboration tool

What do you like best? It's very easy to add/change/remove pages in confluence and share them with others or permission them to remain private. The look is modern and sleek, and it's intuitive to use. Being able to assign tasks for others to do things is handy too, especially when it comes to meeting notes and takeaway action items. The version control on files has come in extremely handy too, especially when several people are editing the same file. We've had to use that to back out ...

Useful Reference Tool for the Office

What do you like best? I like that Confluence provides an easy reference tool for offices. I am able to quickly upload documents to Confluence and then automatically update colleagues about the new information available. I think it provides a quick a convenient reference guide for people so they can "self-help" rather than asking the same questions directly to me repeatedly. What do you dislike? It can sometimes take a little too long to find the exact page or resource that you are ...

Great collaboration tool especially mixed with Jira

What do you like best? Confluence has a very easy learning curve to get started. The mechanics are straightforward - create & edit pages, add content, publish, enable comments, etc. That means you get good early adoption. There's a lot of power as you use more advanced features as well, such as macros, layouts, and more. What do you dislike? The process for creating macros and blueprints is too complex even for power users. You end up needing coders and developers to do simple logic. ...

Confluence allows for institutional knowledge

What do you like best? Confluence really allowed for us to document and empower others to pick up other projects. Especially in a start up or fast paced work environment, it's important to have documentation to build institutional knowledge. I also appreciate the seamless integration with Jira and other Atlassian products. What do you dislike? Some of the formatting is clunky in Confluence. It can feel like an old school Livejournal where you have to scratch your head on HTML. ...

Confluence is cool

What do you like best? That we are able to collaborate especially with our developers and ability to have functional team "spaces". Nesting of information. What do you dislike? The other Atlassian tools are a bit more cool, eg., JIRA, Wiki and HipChat. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Project prioritization Team collaboration Meeting notes

An effective way to communicate

What do you like best? I like that Confluence allows you to work in tandem with JIRA to communicate across teams in one place. What do you dislike? I don't have much to say about disliking it. I haven't encountered many issues so far to speak to. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Our business has been able to solve the problem of document storage with Confluence. Keeping files stored here that are accessible to other teams ...
