Good innovative documentation and collaboration platform for the post-Word generation
What do you like best? Teams and information workers that get a demo of Confluence Wiki are enthousiastic about all the smart features and the power of Confluence. People find it refreshing that the wiki pages are organized in a tree structure, plus the fact that the tree can dynamically grow and that pages can be moved and renamed without breaking links between the pages. Also, it's possible to export your page tree or part of it to PDF (or Word so that you can publish/ send the ...

Works well with JIRA
What do you like best? The integration with JIRA is great if you are a "JIRA" Shop. What do you dislike? The documents do not export easily to other tools. If you need to distribute documents to customer/clients outside of Confluence the tool isn't ideal. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Inline documentation within the tools that the team sues.

Helpful collaboration tool for large groups

Email notifications are overwhelming - it's not always instantaneous and it feels like updates occasionally slip through the cracks. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Better collaboration, easier group work

Good for internal documentation and file sharing among teams. But slow.
What do you like best? Easy to learn - I picked up most of the functionality just by clicking around the site and trying stuff. I also really like that spaces can be exported to PDF with custom formatting. The online help was GREAT for helping me get the custom formatting set how I wanted to. The widgets and templates work really well too. What do you dislike? It's really slow to load any pages. Also, figuring out the logic with permissions for spaces and restrictions for pages can be ...
