Antiquated Internal Knowledge tool
What do you like best? Confluence has a straight forward interface, no frills, making it relatively easy to navigate. What do you dislike? Organization of the Questions section of the platform made it nearly impossible to easily find or answer questions. Confluence's search function is relatively archaic, if exact phrasing is not used, it won't find what you're looking for. Recommendations to others considering the product Look for a platform that focuses more fully on creating ...

Confluence is exceptionally flexible and can be used to fit a variety of business needs.
What do you like best? 1 Templates to base thinking upon when looking at a project. 2 Task lists and allocations by using the @ symbol 3 Spaces for various projects What do you dislike? 1 Can be difficult to assimilate how best to use Confluence. 2 The user interface can be non-intuitive. Recommendations to others considering the product Be very sure of what you want to accomplish with the software and have a pre-prepared plan on exactly how that is going to be applied. I ...

It's what you make of it.
What do you like best? contribute and edit to your liking and easy to access/navigate What do you dislike? huge. the more its used the more resources it takes. unless you're on the cloud, and that's not without its own faults, you have to wait a bit once you're fully contributed and just adding info. Recommendations to others considering the product partition by folder option to reduce loading. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you ...

A good tool for documentation and templates
What do you like best? We use it extensively to keep track of documentation for our IT support team and to establish baseline builds for new PCs, etc. What do you dislike? The performance can be rather slow at times. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? It allows us to centralize our IT documentation on a wiki that everyone can collaborate on.

Good corporate wiki site, but seems somewhat obsolete when using with other similar products.
What do you like best? It's a great reference site and easy to explore. What do you dislike? It becomes somewhat useless when used in conjunction with other similar sites. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We use this as a place where anyone can post any information that should be shared with the company. It's great because unlike our corporate intranet page, you don't need to go through someone to get your information posted.

Confluence worked alright
What do you like best? When I used confluence I liked how I would get email alerts whenever someone commented on one of my projects - it made it easy to stay on top of updates even if I couldn't login right away. What do you dislike? The chains of comments became very long and unmanageable. It was difficult to keep track of updates within Confluence because the chains were just so long. Recommendations to others considering the product I have found other tools that work better for ...

Excellent content collaboration tool for organizations
What do you like best? Easy to work on documents, fairly customization macros . Integration with Jira and a good replacement for MS word's basic functionality. Allows revision history which is useful when comparing edits What do you dislike? Font list is quite sparse, better support for images would be good. Sometimes table of contents does not work properly What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Sharing of information, co-ordination ...

Great Product
What do you like best? Users are always notified when a document relative to you is changed - great for project management. What do you dislike? Ui could use some improvement. Relatively easy to use but if I were to notpick could be a bit more user friendly. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Documentation for software and implementation.

Great Platform, Daunting at First Sight
What do you like best? Spaces are a feature that allow us as a company divide our "wiki" into departments. This allows the flexibility and organization required out of an internal database. What do you dislike? Confluence seems to throw too much at you too fast. As a new employee relying on confluence to inform my decisions on benefits, understand protocols, and other important things it was tough to attune to. Recommendations to others considering the product Review the interface ...
