Excellent wiki platform
What do you like best? It just works. The addition of Diagramly plugin makes diagrams inside the platform free and easy. Integration with JIRA and Crucible simple and effective. What do you dislike? Searching can be a pain, multiple search terms are often needed. Even with content tags some searches do not behave as you would like. What business problems are you solving with the product? Internal documentation and collaboration
What do you like best? The integration between Confluence and the other Atlassian tools is fantastic for consolidated communication. What do you dislike? The pricing model for Atlassian makes growth difficult at times. Paying a license fee per user for the base software isn't bad, but all the plugins follow that same pricing model. This has been a limiting factor to growth and further development of the tool. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits ...

Confluence is Hit and Miss
What do you like best? It is fairly easy to navigate and add content. What do you dislike? It is not fully integrated with our ticketing systems, so it is not as easy as I would like to link solutions in responses to customers. Recommendations to others considering the product Fully investigate all options for knowledge authoring and databasing, taking advantage of evaluation periods to determine whether it will fully integrate with your ticketing system. Confluence has changed the way I view collaboration, its clean and easy to use.
What do you like best? The versatility of the product with the market place add ons such as the Gliffy integration. What do you dislike? The page structure proves to be difficult to manage. Pages get lost easily, it takes an upfront effort and a plan to stay organized. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We are implementing a Quote to Cash transformation focusing on billing and CPQ and the integrations

Clumsy interface
What do you like best? The fact that my whole company continues to engage and add content. That it is searchable. What do you dislike? The old and new version are one in the same. Albeit, I see the light with the newest version but it's so slow and drags along. Editing documents is kind of a nightmare, but not nearly as bad as attempting to organize spaces in a meaningful way. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Documentation. ...

Documentation for Employees and Customers alike
What do you like best? I really like the Jira integration and how it allows to link our software development work with other areas of the company. If setup correctly, managing documentation is very easy even for large complex organizations. What do you dislike? The UI could look more modern. It is difficult to make exciting documents within confluence which makes customer facing pages look out of date. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you ...
